[It was a beautiful September evening in Paradisa. Zelos, back early from the expedition, had finished up with all the odds and ends that he needed to take care of when he got back. Well, any of the ones he couldn't put off anyway.]

[So now? He feels like enjoying himself for a couple evenings before the others return. How does he plan to do this? Why making up for lost time from having to travel for three weeks with no spots to relax with beautiful women, of course! So he's in the main square of the city, moving in to chat up a beautiful brunette woman that looks pretty lonely and was definitely checking him out]

[ Genis was starting to get used to this place. It had been what- a few weeks?- since he had arrived, so the young mage had started venturing out into the city he had heard so much about.

It was so weird. The boy roamed the streets, his wide eyes taking in all of the sights, when he finally arrived at the main city square... and recognized that mane of red hair. Really, he could recognize it anywhere.

Of course it was Zelos...

He kept a slight distance away for now, just to see what he was up to before he would go bother him. ]

[Even with his enhanced senses, Zelos doesn't notice the squirt approach. This is the city square, people walking past is a normal thing that he doesn't care about. ]

[And definitely not as much as he seemed to care about the lady that he was chatting it up with. Which Genis should notice the very clear signs he's hitting on her and having an extremely flirtatious conversation]

[ Hm... Genis does notice these signs, rolling his eyes. Oh, brother.

So he would wander up to Zelos, quietly, and move to attempt to give a tug on one of his crimson locks... ]

[ Cue Genis snickering, letting go of his strand of hair. He won't admit it, but the relief of seeing someone he knows better than the others here is overwhelming... ]

[Zelos meanwhile is holding off on the good feelings for instead complete annoyance at being cockblocked]

Brat! Can't you see I'm in the middle of something?!

In the middle of something? [ At least he truly is innocent on the account of Zelos' intentions with the woman... ]

Can't you flirt with girls later?

[an annoyed noise before he smiles back at the lady charmingly]

Sorry, but I'm afraid I'll have to rain check that dinner. Later, hunny!

[And then he will move to walk away from the lady.....you know and maturely making a grab for one of Genis's hair spikes to tug back with :x]

[ He yelps at the tug, an arm flailing in an attempt to hit his- the one that was connected to that dastardly hand holding his hair. ]

[And he lets go, snickering and putting his arms behind his head]

Aha, now the score's even!

[ Huff. ]

So what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be on that expedition?

[wilder]

I came back early to do some stuff. [a shrug]

The others should be back tomorrow or so.

[pocketmage]

[ He tilts his head a little. ]

'Some stuff'?

[ He's curious, okay. ]

[wilder]

It's not important. [Dropping off little girls to their mother is definitely not on the list of cool things to talk about]

So what are you doing out here?

[ Aw, but it might have given you some brownie points! ]

I was just exploring a little. Since I've already looked around the castle, and it was starting to get a bit boring.

[ Without any of you back here... ]

[wilder]

[ He rolls his eyes, but the mention of 'the house' makes him tilt his head in confusion. ]

The house?

[ he echoes, confused. ]

[wilder]

[He starts walking towards the direction. Or strolling since you are tiny and would have to jog to keep up with his pace]

Yep. It's a house Lloyd's got. Him, Colette, Sheena and I live there.

[pocketmage]

[ Genis starts to follow, moving faster to catch up to him. ]

Huh, so you guys don't live in the castle?

... wait, what about Raine? She doesn't live with you guys?

[wilder]

We got rooms there and sometimes we'll stay in those, but mostly we're out here.

[a shrug] Bud invited her, but for some reason she preferred living near the castle library over living with a bunch of teenagers and yours truly.

[pocketmage]

[ He snorts a little. ]

When you put it like that, the choice is obvious for her.

[ But this means there's a decision to be made by him... to live in the castle with her or in the house with the rest of his friends. ]

[wilder]

Heh heh, yep!

Lloyd'll probably invite you to stay once he's back too. There's more than enough rooms.

[pocketmage]

[ Hm... ]

I'll... have to think about it. Since Raine's all the way back in the castle.

[wilder]

Ah. Right.

[Wonders if he knows about her loss yet.........]

Well, do what you want.

[pocketmage]

[ Nope, he hasn't a clue- he hasn't really talked to her since he got here. Which is a bit worrying. ]

I'm not really sure I'd like to live in the castle, though. It's too fancy, and the whole wishing thing is kind of suspicious.

[wilder]

[he stretches]

Yeah. And the ghosts keep trying to do stuff for you- it's annoying.

[Hey they are coming upon a house that Zelos starts walking towards. It a good sized one, with a yard and a bunch of plants and flowers out front. Seem like something Colette and Lloyd would have huh? ]

The ghosts?

[ Genis follows, having to pick up the pace so he doesn't get left behind. The house does look like something that his best friends would own, and he finds himself smiling a bit. ]

Heh, I knew it would look something like this. [ he said, amused, although it was obvious he found it beautiful, as well. ]

Yeah, you know- the servants in the castle?

[he snorts some]

Lloyd's pretty predictable like that. [He'll head across the yard, pushing open the front door open enough to stay open for Genis as he heads in]

... Huh. I don't think I've seen them around.

[ he admits, before following, simply holding a hand out so the door wouldn't hit him as he walked in behind Zelos. ]

And he really is. But this really suits him, doesn't it?

Huh. Guess it's harder to see things from your height. [:D ]

[It's a warm inviting place, just like something Lloyd and Colette would have. All the furniture was clearly made by their friend too. Zelos stretches and heads to the couch to flop on]
