Even if Sam hadn't gotten around to telling her, she made a habit of checking the network every few days. Keeping employees around meant keeping track of them. His name stood out like a bright red neon sign. Knowing what to do with the information, that was the question that had been on her mind for a few days. She closed up the Lux later than usual, Chase had a late shift at the clinic and she was planning on catching him in the morning. She was just going to head to the house, feed the dogs then come back to the castle and see if he needed company for those last few hours.
On her way back to the castle, she changed her mind completely. Instead of going up to the second floor, she pressed the button for the fourth floor and leaned against the back wall while the elevator moved up each flight. When the doors opened, she pushed off the wall, her stride determined. She was about sixty-three percent sure he was awake, but only thirty-four percent sure he was in his room. The rest of her wasn't sure she wanted him to be there at all. Either way, when she stood in front of his door, she exhaled. Bringing both hands up to her face, she tipped her head back and took in a slow deep breath, rubbing her face and then dropping her hand to the side as the other knocked on the door.
One more exhale and her chin dropped, taking a step away from the door. She waited to see just how bad of an idea this was going to be, this time.

[She shrugs] I attacked Castiel with a bookend - thinking he was a trick.
