Introducing the People of Paradisa
Who: The Lord and Lady of Lothlórien & Everyone
What: While the two love birds have a romantic picnic within the courtyard, several nosy imps decide to crash their little party.
When: Midday
Where: The Gardens
Rating: PG-13 and much embarrassment on Celeborn's part.
[The gentle autumn breeze welcomed the two star-crossed lovers as they dined together upon several blankets spun from the finest wool. It was the perfect afternoon for a picnic, one comprised of clear sunny skies damped in bright cyan and fluffy white clouds that rolled past in an endless march to the distant horizon. Such a day was like most others here in paradise but what made this day so unique from others was two lovers who sat under the shadow of a sturdy maple tree. They dined and laughed in unison, the two of them greatly enjoying their time together in the form of flirtatious quips and innocent kisses. It was quite ridiculous how in love these two were but anyone with eyes could tell that they're definitely take their vows seriously.
Gently brushing his lips against Galadriel's hand, Celeborn was honestly not aware of the small crowd that gathered nearby. It seemed that many of Galadriel's friends have taken an interest in their timeless romance, many of which seemed more impish than curious. While he most certainly welcomes any and all of his wife's dear friends, Celeborn might be the first to remind them that this sacred time he shares with his beloved is his and his alone.
The Lord of Lothlórien can be a tad selfish like that.]
The glorious shine of the day fails in comparison to your beauty, my eternal queen.
[He whispers quietly with a faint smirk curling upon his lips. Celeborn could go on for days in admiration of Galadrial's celestial beauty but he rather not embarrass her so in public.]

The glorious shine of the day fails in comparison to your beauty, my eternal queen.

Now who is flattering "whom", my queen?

[ Goodness, these two are such a mess. An adorable mess but a mess nonetheless. ]

There is another you once adored with all your heart. [A little sigh] I would that you remembered her, my love.

How could any father forget the face of their child? It's almost as if Celebrian doesn't exist at all for him.]
You speak of the memories stolen from me.

[She raises her hand to his shirt, idly fiddling with a button. Perhaps it was better to leave him in the dark- to allow him to believe their daughter was still happy and well in Rivendell. But she could not. There have never been secrets between them and certainly none as important as this.]
There is much I should tell you, yet I scarcely know where to begin.
no subject
However, due to the mysterious power that lurks in this realm, will everything Galadriel tells him about Celebrian be forgotten? ]
Then merely take your time, melamin.
[ He reaches to hold her hand within his. ]
We have all but eternity on our side. I shall reclaim what has been lost through your undying love.

It has been long since we have seen our Celebrían; she has sailed West before either of us. [The reason is almost more painful than the fact itself, so she pauses, both to let him process it and to prepare herself for the rest of the story.]
no subject
No matter how painful the truth regarding Celebrian might be, he needs to know. ]

She was taken...captured by orcs and subjected to such torments as I dare not speak of, not even in the light of day. Her sons came to her rescue and Lord Elrond healed her as best he could. [She looks away.] But he could not heal her in spirit.

There must've been fury burning within his gaze for now Celeborn certainly felt livid now. Sorrow would soon come to take a hold of him but for now, he's livid. ]
My only daughter was snatched and taken by Orcs?
[ He almost scoffs. ]
How despicable. For every strand of silver hair they touched, a thousand of them should've suffered. There should've been none left of these monsters and all of Mordor itself should've crumbled beneath the sea.
[ Surely the Orc population dwindled significantly after Celebrian's ordeal reached him. ]

Your wrath has always been fearsome when earned. You were no different then.
no subject
Our dearest Celebrian...
[ He leans into Galadriel's touch as he closed his eyes. ]
How cruel the Valar are to curse our "Silver Princess" with such a fate. I cannot even begin to fathom what they did to her.
I simply cannot.
no subject
Blame not the Valar, my love. Or if you must, blame me equally, for it was I who earned their wrath. Were not my kin cursed to woe for our sins?
no subject
Do you mean they would bring harm to our only child for deeds done thousands of years ago?
[ Goodness, what a revelation. Celeborn honestly doesn't like it, not one ounce of it. ]
As innocent and pure our daughter was, she shouldn't have undergo such a fate. Thus, I truly begin to believe that all of this was merely...accidental.
no subject
I, too, am more inclined to blame chance and the orcs who took her. [And herself, for not foreseeing it, but she won't tell him that.]
