What: While the two love birds have a romantic picnic within the courtyard, several nosy imps decide to crash their little party.

Rating: PG-13 and much embarrassment on Celeborn's part.

[The gentle autumn breeze welcomed the two star-crossed lovers as they dined together upon several blankets spun from the finest wool. It was the perfect afternoon for a picnic, one comprised of clear sunny skies damped in bright cyan and fluffy white clouds that rolled past in an endless march to the distant horizon. Such a day was like most others here in paradise but what made this day so unique from others was two lovers who sat under the shadow of a sturdy maple tree. They dined and laughed in unison, the two of them greatly enjoying their time together in the form of flirtatious quips and innocent kisses. It was quite ridiculous how in love these two were but anyone with eyes could tell that they're definitely take their vows seriously.

Gently brushing his lips against Galadriel's hand, Celeborn was honestly not aware of the small crowd that gathered nearby. It seemed that many of Galadriel's friends have taken an interest in their timeless romance, many of which seemed more impish than curious. While he most certainly welcomes any and all of his wife's dear friends, Celeborn might be the first to remind them that this sacred time he shares with his beloved is his and his alone.

The Lord of Lothlórien can be a tad selfish like that.]

The glorious shine of the day fails in comparison to your beauty, my eternal queen.

[He whispers quietly with a faint smirk curling upon his lips. Celeborn could go on for days in admiration of Galadrial's celestial beauty but he rather not embarrass her so in public.]

A summoner?

[ He repeats the questioned word with a hint of surprise. ]

You mean to state that you're one of the few who can summon spirits at their whim?

[She looks from one to the other and nods.]

I made pacts with them to protect the people of my world.

[She looks down.]

I'm the last one...

[Galadriel knows a little something about being the last of something...]

I am heartily sorry to hear it. Such things may be lonely.

[ Glancing slightly towards his wife, Celeborn's gaze finally returned to Sheena once more. He could imagine why the girl now finds herself alone, assuming that her people were killed because others feared their powers. Fear often acts as a catalysis for some of the more grievous crimes. ]

I may so ask, where are you from, Sheena?

[She can neither confirm nor deny his assumption--although it's crossed her own mind--and he'll know the real reason why she feels alone the more they talk.]

Um. I grew up in the village of Mizuho, on Tethe'alla.

[Given that Galadriel is there, she may have mentioned it to him, so she doesn't explain further.]

She is of the same world as Martel and Zelos, my lord.

[ The Elvenlord's interest is peaked now. ]

The same realm where the Elves there act upon pure malice alone?

Hmmm. I really wouldn't say that.

[Sheena tilts her head slightly in thought, and her tone is somewhat heated when she replies.]

Well, I don't like the way some elves and humans treat half-elves just because they're different--not one race or the other. [Yes, she said both races. Then her tone softens a little.]

But, then again, if it weren't for them, there'd be no Summon Spirits on my world.

[She doesn't think all elves are bad. If she did, she wouldn't be talking to them right now.]

You will forgive us, I hope, if we judge those of our kind more harshly. It is natural, I think, to expect better of one's peers. [And elves should know better, in her opinion.]
