[It was easier for him to close the journal and just walk around, to investigate this place himself. Easier to avoid whatever it was that he was seeing (no he was convinced that wasn't his loss, it couldn't be, it was just guilt) and instead be around others. That seemed to keep it at bay, whatever it was.

And well if it kept such things at bay, why not enjoy learning about his fellow residents while he was at it? So he crept along, keeping to the shadows mostly. On occasion inching closer to the interesting ones to hear what they were speaking about, or closer still to invading their space to see their reaction. In bars, inns, stores, the castle itself.]

[ Cross is in the arts district today, making a stop at the large church that resides within it. He studies the facade for a moment before entering, choosing to move along the sides and working his way to the altar. ]
