[Hi everyone how has your weekend of nightmares gone? Terribly? Great! Ready for more? No? Too bad.]

[If you're traveling around in the nightmares, you'll come across an area that seems like no one has turned on the lights - it's pitch black and you can't see past that]

[Overall the space gives off a cold feeling. Really cold, like it should be snowing in here. Sound is easy to pick up, in fact it's almost like someone turned up the volume way loud on the world. You can hear your own heartbeat, that small squeak of your sneakers, your own breath. If you have bad lungs? Well now you know. Cut out those cigarettes or inhaling chemicals already! You sound terrible!]

[There doesn't seem to be anyone else around. In fact you get the overwhelming sense that you are nothing short but purely alone and that's the way it always is. ]

[Though, that will probably change real soon now that there are spectators]

[OOC: Same deal as Allen's post a couple days ago. Nightmares will sorta be tailored based on people's desires level of trauma or aspect. You can find out what sort of stuff you can be in for here! Anyone's welcomed!]

[they respond with a good day, with fake smiles, before going back to whispering about you. All about what a strange THING you are. There also seems to be debates among a few of them, whether or not you can be useful to them or if you're simply a threat]

[R U D E. And beginning to get on her nerves- the fact that she can still hear everything with such clarity isn't helping. She's going to look for a way out of this place or else a place to be alone before she ends up snapping at someone.]

[That might be a good plan because let's not hurt any of dem people that might go badly. But there seems to be an alleyway that's unoccupied. Well- except for what appears to be that redhead you know, relaxing against one of the walls]

[She's a little surprised to see him here at first. But then, ah, this must be his dream.]

[he hears her and looks over, looking rather surprised to see her]

Galadriel? What are you doing here, my lady?

[inafadingcrown]

Would that I knew, my friend. Perhaps you might tell me where I am?

[wilder]

Where?

[he gives a shrug then stretches his arms]

You, my lady, are in the imperial city of Meltokio, capital city of Tethe'alla.

My hometown.

Your home. [That...explains a lot.] Tell me, are the citizens always so welcoming? [Driest. Tone. Ever.]

[wilder]

Welcoming?

[He tilts his head]

What do you mean? Was someone giving you problems?

[inafadingcrown]

Not openly, no. [She frowns] The whispers began almost as soon as they set eyes upon me.

[wilder]

Huh. [he frowns]

I know elves are rare here, but they usually just resort to quick stares than whispers of newcomers.

[Suddenly a little suspicious.] What brings you to this place? [Do you often hang out in alleys?]

[wilder]

[Time to play dumb!]

Meltokio? Well, it's where I've been the longest, so it's be expected I'm here.

[A raised eyebrow] And you have a particular fondness for the backstreets?

[Granted, he could ask her the same.]

[wilder]

[a shrug] They do tend to be less crowded.

[inafadingcrown]

And more quiet. [She's not dumb, Zelos; she's able to put some thing together.]

[CURSES]

Well yeah, that's a perk too.

[Though some of the murmurings are still getting through, even if it's farther away. And yep, all very rude and exclusive]

[And in response, Galadriel's brow furrows; she's just barely resisting the urge to cover her hears. Are they never silent?]

Not quiet enough for my tastes.

[wilder]

[he's noticing this, and he's a bit confused by it. Only Colette had hearing like his after all, why would he assume Galadriel could hear what he did?]

Huh. Is your hearing really that good or something?

Ordinarily, no. For all that is said of Elven hearing, this is something quite [annoying] different.

[wilder]

Oh. That's weird.

[You can probably pick up his heart beating a bit faster from nerves and surprise, since this turn of events catches him off guard. Is this stupid thing sharing his hearing too? Not cool.]

[She certainly can! And she tilts her head in response.]

You are unnerved by this.

[wilder]

[a soft snort, he tries to play it off]

What makes you say that?

Your heart is beating more rapidly. [And, yes, she's a little creeped out that she can hear it.]

[....dammit. Not unethical enough to claim heart condition either]
