[Hi everyone how has your weekend of nightmares gone? Terribly? Great! Ready for more? No? Too bad.]

[If you're traveling around in the nightmares, you'll come across an area that seems like no one has turned on the lights - it's pitch black and you can't see past that]

[Overall the space gives off a cold feeling. Really cold, like it should be snowing in here. Sound is easy to pick up, in fact it's almost like someone turned up the volume way loud on the world. You can hear your own heartbeat, that small squeak of your sneakers, your own breath. If you have bad lungs? Well now you know. Cut out those cigarettes or inhaling chemicals already! You sound terrible!]

[There doesn't seem to be anyone else around. In fact you get the overwhelming sense that you are nothing short but purely alone and that's the way it always is. ]

[Though, that will probably change real soon now that there are spectators]

[OOC: Same deal as Allen's post a couple days ago. Nightmares will sorta be tailored based on people's desires level of trauma or aspect. You can find out what sort of stuff you can be in for here! Anyone's welcomed!]

[You can probably pick up his heart beating a bit faster from nerves and surprise, since this turn of events catches him off guard. Is this stupid thing sharing his hearing too? Not cool.]

Your heart is beating more rapidly. [And, yes, she's a little creeped out that she can hear it.]

I gather you have some explanation, then. [Staring him in the face. No weaseling out of this one.]

[He lets out a bummed exhale, so not amused right now subconscious that let nosy elf woman in. ]

[Yep, he knows that's what she's doing and so he gives her a look]

I'm sorry, did you want a tour, my lady?

[...Congratulations, Zelos. You've managed to actually make her feel guilty for sticking her nose somewhere.]

[he crosses his arms and looks away. He's quiet for a good moment before he speaks, while still looking out at the people walking through the street. His tone lacks some of the bite of the previous one]

No one's ever questioned that you're an elf, right? Like back home, I mean.

Of course not. [Aside from the fact that it's readily apparent, her heritage is well known.]

[wilder]

Thought not. It'd be pretty ridiculous if someone did, right?

[a pause]

But what if they started to? Because of..I don't know, some stupid decree, people started treating you like you weren't one?

[inafadingcrown]

[It's hard for her to imagine (partially because most decrees would be issued by...her), but she does try. She's silent for a while, contemplating, looking for an answer beyond "I wouldn't like it."]

It would lonely, I imagine.

[wilder]

Hm.

Yeah, I guess so.

[inafadingcrown]

[Zelos... She's not going to say anything else, just come up beside him and place a hand on his shoulder.]

[wilder]

[He'll glance over at her when she does so. He won't say anything, but he won't pull away either. So...progress?]
