[Hi everyone how has your weekend of nightmares gone? Terribly? Great! Ready for more? No? Too bad.]

[If you're traveling around in the nightmares, you'll come across an area that seems like no one has turned on the lights - it's pitch black and you can't see past that]

[Overall the space gives off a cold feeling. Really cold, like it should be snowing in here. Sound is easy to pick up, in fact it's almost like someone turned up the volume way loud on the world. You can hear your own heartbeat, that small squeak of your sneakers, your own breath. If you have bad lungs? Well now you know. Cut out those cigarettes or inhaling chemicals already! You sound terrible!]

[There doesn't seem to be anyone else around. In fact you get the overwhelming sense that you are nothing short but purely alone and that's the way it always is. ]

[Though, that will probably change real soon now that there are spectators]

[OOC: Same deal as Allen's post a couple days ago. Nightmares will sorta be tailored based on people's desires level of trauma or aspect. You can find out what sort of stuff you can be in for here! Anyone's welcomed!]

[He doesn't say anything for a moment. For a moment, he'd definitely been angry with those people, but that anger's vanished, now. He's not tranquil, but... he's calm.]

Please listen for a moment.

[wilder]

[The crowd focuses on Tsuna, it's like Zelos- their Chosen isn't even there. They all glare at him, saying stuff like "Yeah? What do you got to say for yourself?" ]

[Zelos meanwhile just watches ]

I don't know what a Chosen is, or how Zelos is supposed to make all of you happy.

[He bows his head.]

I don't want to make excuses. But.. I know what it's like. Being born into something where so much is expected of you. It's... it's really scary. Because, if you fail something like that... Well, I can only begin to imagine the consequences. And the worst part is, because you're born into it... [He takes a small breath, to steady himself.] You can't get out. If you try to run, it'll follow you. And if you try to hide, it'll find you. For the rest of your life... you're trapped.

But I guess that can be difficult for other people to see. [He gives a weak smile at the crowd.] I know it might seem hard to believe, but... [He puts fist over his heart.] We're people, too. We have desires, emotions, and fears. We're not perfect. I know I'm not anything close to it. We might make mistakes. We might... make a lot of mistakes. For a long time, we just might not be ready to accept that sort of position.

But that doesn't make us stupid, or idiots, or failures. We can still learn... and we'll get better. I don't want to disappoint you, and I don't think Zelos wants to disappoint you, either. But we won't be able to help anyone until we know that we're able to. [He bows his head again.] That can be really hard to believe when you can't even help yourself. [And then he looks up at all of them.] So... please don't be upset with us, okay?

[Zelos widens his eyes a bit at the speech. Wow. That sort of speech...makes it sound like the kid knows what he's talking about. Maybe he misjudged him a lot before]

[Huh.]

[wilder]

[Meanwhile the crowd? There is silence for a moment. ]

[And then someone throws a rotten tomato at Tsuna's face. Sorry, it has little effect on nightmare crowd]

[not_mafia]

[Tsuna flinches, then brings up an arm and wipes the juices off.]

I know it must be hard on you guys, too. But doing things like that... it's only going to make us want to do what we need to do less. You don't want that, do you? You don't have to help us, but if you do... [He gives a soft smile.] We'll... I'll... be really grateful.

[wilder]

[The crowd is getting more agitated. What do you mean want to do what they need less? What do they mean people too? That is not how the Chosen system is set up. Chosens are supposed to be above all that. Overall? The crowd is getting ugly.]

[Zelos meanwhile, both touched by the words but knowing that this crowd is going to get nasty in a moment- grabs the kid by the shoulder]

Thanks...

But we should probably vacate, like now.

[Tsuna blinks at the touch and looks at Zelos, then back at the crowd.

He feels bad. He wants them to understand-- they haven't been abandoned. But he can see the anger in their eyes. They're blinded by their own fears, their own desires too much.

He only hopes that with time, they'll understand.

He starts backing away from them.]

Yeah, I think you're right.

[wilder]

[He nudge the kid to head in the direction that seems to lead to the nicer houses. They can probably hide out in his house or something. Though as the crowd starts to follow with their yelling and complaints, some temper seems to snap in Zelos since he'll whirl around and shout back at them]

Oh shut up! Maybe you should stop complaining and try fixing some of those problems yourself!

[As you can see, he's much less patient with them. And okay, back to pushing Tsuna along away from this crowd]

[Oh, well... Yeah, that's another way of approaching this situation. Tsuna heads quickly for the houses, and then he'll head inside Zelos' house once he shows him the way.]

[wilder]

[Isn't he the best Chosen One ever? but he'll shepard him into the house, quickly slamming the door shut behind the two and leaning up against it, taking a huge breath of relief at the quiet]

Finally...

[a pause of awkward]

Sorry about all this.

[not_mafia]

Mm, that's fine.

[... oh, um. Maybe he should address that whole spiel he just did? He kind of just lumped Zelos in when he was talking a whole lot about himself.]

Um.. I hope I didn't say anything out of line, earlier. It's just been... on my chest for awhile. [Like just ever since he found out he was Vongola X nbd.]

[wilder]

I could tell.

[He pulls himself away from the door, eying to make sure it's locked before walking over and flopping down on the couch]

Don't worry about it. You might've violated some religious doctrines but hey that's all in good fun anyway.

[Besides, Tsuna was more right than the people out there]

You alright?

Yeah.

[He'll take the chance to look around now. It's a pretty big house. That's right; Lloyd had said he was rich, wasn't he? Let's stand around uselessly at the door like some kind of coat rack.]

Your house is really big. ... Well, I guess it's more of a mansion, isn't it?

[wilder]

Yeah, mansion's the term.

You can sit down, you know. Unless you like the door.

[not_mafia]

Oh, alright.

[And he comes over and sits down in a chair.]

...what do we do now?

[wilder]

Hmmm, just wait for it to calm down. They'll get bored eventually.

[not_mafia]

Okay.

[He'll just lean back in the chair and think for a moment, then.]

[wilder]

[he meanwhile will go to stare at the ceiling of his house. It's been such a long time since he's been home between paradisa and the journey, so it feels a bit weird for him to be back...even if this is probably a dream or SOMETHING]

[not_mafia]

[A startled noise escapes from Tsuna when a drop of tomato juice suddenly rolls past his eye. He reaches up and rubs at the spot.]

I should probably take care of that.

[wilder]

Oh right- I forgot about the tomato.

[He sighs and moves to get up]

C'mon.

[not_mafia]

[And Tsuna gets up to follow him.]

[he leads him to a kitchen. A very old fashion kitchen that doesn't have any modern appliances of any sort or plumbing, though it's definitely seems to be a nice one for it's time period]

[Zelos pokes around until he finds a wash bucket that still has some old, slightly dirty and cold soapy water in it. ]

Hmmm, I think this should do.

[....lmao is that sanitary. WELL... it's probably not worse than the pond at Paradisa, which he's taken a dunk in a couple times already.]

You don't have plumbing? [Even with him being rich...]

[a snort] You mean like indoor plumbing at the castle?
