Who: Hank and you!
What: Nightmares
When: Now
Where: Hank's head
Rating: R, cause nastiness
Carcinoma is derived from the Greek word καρκίνωμα, and is most often defined as "a cancerous ulcer."
It's an oddly fitting description of the place you now find yourself standing in: a pulsating, gargantuan mass of something, most likely human flesh, floating in an endless void. The ground, as it were, almost looks like sinuous tissues, clearly visible under a thin layer of what can only be skin. There's no gore or offal to speak of here, but the air is nonetheless thick with the smell of eternally fresh blood. Explore to your hearts content, but try not to vomit.
It's unsanitary, you know.

the dead
You can either try to speak with them, or move on.
the light
Yet some ancient, primal instinct screams at you to get away. If you don't, you may find yourself entranced by this fantastic light, and join those who have elected to jump...
the pit
Once over the hill, the reason for all this becomes clear. In front of you is a pit leading deep down into the heart of this mass, cocooned in it's walls are a few of the people you'd seen earlier, and from it grows powerful tentacles of all shapes and sizes. In the sky above, Hank does battle with the many tentacles as they attempt to ensnare and drag him down to join those who already have been encased in the walls. Unfortunately, with every gain he makes against them, more appear and manage to pull him in a little bit more.
It's up to you, but it might be a good idea to leave.
Re: the pit
Upon investigating, he see's Hank's predicament. He hesitates for a second, his fear battling with his sense of honor. In the end, Good Form wins out. Hook draws his sword and charges at the mass of tentacles.]
I'll not see this monstrosity claim me without a fight!
ooc: This could transition directly to The Struggle or stay in The Pit, however you want to work this.

[Hank continues his eternal struggle against the pit and it's tentacles, who now have taken notice of Hook.
Almost immediately, they converge on him to claim him as their new prize.]
ooc: guess we could keep it here!

The tentacles go for Hook's limbs trying to restrain him and get that sword out of the way.
By now, voices should be whispering into his ear.]
the struggle
"You! Help me!"
It sounds more like a demand than a plea for help, but what you hear next drowns out Hank's shouting. A legion of voices touch your mind, offering you a rare gift: they are life, they claim, and so offer you the splendor of immortality. If you're keen enough, you'll notice the smaller tentacles slithering across the ground, stealthily approaching as best they can. Closer and closer, the writhing tendrils reach out to you.
"Fool!"
Who could turn down such an incredible offer? Surely you wouldn't. Not like him, he would give it all up. The voices grow louder.
Come, stay and linger, they cry. You need not know death, you need not fear it, they boast.
The tentacles get closer with each passing second.
Never die, they drone.
Stay, stay forever.
Stay.
Stay.
Transition from the Pit
No! I must fight it.
Must fight...
fight... it...

Not that it matters. The voices are continuously drowning Hank out, telling of all the wondrous things eternal life could grant a person. You wouldn't be just immortal, you'd be unbeatable!]

Hook has one more trick up his sleeve (literally!). With a flick of his wrist, he activates the spring-loaded mechanism that launches a dagger into his hand. Then, as the cacophony of voices in his head nearly overwhelms him, he tries to cut his way free of the tentacles.]
Not today, creature! You'll not get the Hook today!

The voices are getting impatient now. Mocking him. You're too weak like this, too soft.
Would you really give up a chance at power?]
