[Reno was taking inventory, not really all that interested in making a big deal of Christmas since hey, not like they have it back home. But when he sees Faith, he'll give a small grin]
Yo.
Merry Christmas to you too.
Yo.
Merry Christmas to you too.
[He does it because he's a freak Faith, okay. And he raises an eyebrow, sets down the clipboard and reaches for the tin]
You did? [Whoa]
What is it?
You did? [Whoa]
What is it?
Cookies...
[He sounds a bit surprised as he opens the tin, looking down at the cookies while she speaks. Slowly he'll pick up one of the misshapen stars and hold it up away from the tin. What almost seems to be a smile crosses his face- though you can tell he doesn't smile like a normal person too much]
Heh...gotta be the first time anyone's baked me something before.

Heh, please they nearly burn it down every other week.
[fine fine, he'll chuckle and take a bit off one of the corners. No matter the taste, he won't gag or make a face or anything because really two years in a post-apocalyptic world makes your palette very not picky]
It's a nice thought. I like them too.

Fighting vampires is cooler anyway.
[He'll pop the rest of the cookie into his mouth and eat it]
But maybe you could find a way of tying slaying into it. Like...stake cookies? I dunno.

It could be like rock candy or something, c'mon.
I haven't decided...why? You got a better offer?

A walk?
[He considers, then shrugs]
I'd be up for that.

[It's interesting, to teach her. It's not that he's unused to it, or that he's found it particularly difficult to teach a woman, rather than a man, but she takes to it with the ease of someone who's known nothing but combat. Someone who has a rare affinity with weapons. It's a treat.
Moving around her laziness and other aspects however, are less so. But not enough that he thinks twice about meeting her]
Hello, Faith.

[ Dean's having a meal by the bar and ignoring the people around him in favor of his bacon double cheeseburger. Sure, he can't help but think about Lisa and Ben every now and then because it's Christmas, but mostly he's focused on the food. If he could have celebrated the day with the Braeden's as a family, it wouldn't have felt all that right without Sam in the picture anyways, and if he had to pick one or the other -- hell, there'd be no question about it. If he could have swapped places with Sammy and landed himself in hell again, he would have done it in a heartbeat.
Lifting up a finger, he gets the attention of the bartender and orders himself another bottle of beer. ]

[It helps that Steve is inclined to try to make his way toward her when he does spot her. It's a surprise, but not an unpleasant one.] Faith, can I get you something?
[ Buffy hadn't bothered to talk to Faith... not because she didn't want to, but because the last time they talked she wasn't really sure where they stood. And she was starting to realize that butting her way into peoples lives and forcing them into a corner wasn't the best course of action. And besides, this was Paradisa. She had nothing but time.
She'd heard the shuffling and the stopping in front of her door, but didn't really think anything of it as she put on her boots. When she opened it, though, she stopped mid step alarmed. ]
Faith.
