Though he had never celebrated Christmas for the sake of the Son of God, Lemony had almost always celebrated certain customs of it out of respect and fellowship for his gentile - a phrase which here means "not Jewish, but not necessarily Christian or Catholic either, simply commercialistic" - friends. As such, on Christmas morning, he dressed himself in a grey suit with a handsome green tie and set about his preparations. by the proper hour, there was a fine tea set at the small table in his room, which he ringed with three chairs, and set two wrapped parcels at the places of honor. that being done, he filtered journal invitations to the friends in question, inviting them for tea and pleasant company, and waited for them to arrive...

Hermione was very excited to see what sort of present Lemony was bringing her. She, of course, had his own gift ready so they could exchanget hem both at the same time.

Nora hadn't expected a personal invitation to tea today. As such she'd been deep in her latest project when it came and had to wash the paint and clay off and find a clean dress before she headed over. She was slightly out of breath when she arrived, combing her fingers through her slightly damp hair as she knocked on the door.

So you ladies are arriving at the same time? Y/N/M?

Lemony opened the door and smiled - something that had been somewhat of a rare sight back home, but was happening with increasing frequency in Paradisa. It was a wonder what not being constantly chased, hounded, threatened and trapped in a variety of odd locations could do for one's disposition.

"Good afternoon... and Merry Christmas, as well."

Hermione offered a friendly smile to Nora. She didn't know the girl well, but saw her a few times in passing.

"Happy Christmas to both of you." She felt a little bad she didn't have any special gifts for Nora, but was sure she could think of something.

"Hermione? Nora ... I see you two know each other. What a pleasant surprise." He stepped out of the way so that they could enter - after all, it was rude to lurk in the doorway when your guests were waiting to accept your invitation.

"Please, come in. Make yourselves comfortable."

"Merry Christmas." Nora smiled and nodded at the other girl before turning to Lemony, "Yeah we've talked a few times. She's friends with Mark." She felt guilty for a moment when she realized how little they'd actually spoken.

Shaking it off she stepped into the room, looking around. "Hey, nice place you've got here." She smirked, "could use a little more decoration, though."
