Who: James Potter and Korra
What: Trying to get some help replying to friends back at the castle
When: Now
Where: In the Dead Zone somewhere
Rating: IDK low
[ While he certainly appreciates Sirius' desire to fill him in on the ladies of dear precious Paradisa, James is lamenting the fact that he's not going to have the easiest time of it at the moment. Perhaps this is his fault for not giving Sirius a little more heads up on his comings and goings, or the fact that his loss didn't just affect him in the confines of the castle itself, but hit him when he was out in the Dead Zone, and hit him hard.
Either way as James stares down at his journal, the one item he'd actually bothered to bring with him on this trip, and had been leaving in the caravan for the most part, he is coming to the fast realization that while it's useful to have for alerts about what's going back at the castle (difficult to peruse as it was in this form) it really did jack squat if he actually wanted to have a conversation with anyone still. Without his exaggerated body language people really couldn't understand a single idea he was trying to get across, and not being able to see him in person when talking through the journals James has a vague feeling that Sirius is gonna have a hell of a time understanding what James was trying to tell him.
Which is why he's picked up the journal in his mouth and is making his way over to the nearest person in the group at the moment. A young woman who looks intelligent and capable enough by James' guessing. He can't recall her name at the moment, but it's not like he could really say it even if he could.
He comes to a stop in front of her standing up tall and hoping to get her attention before dropping the journal by her feet. ]

Okay, uh...
[The Avatar pauses for a moment, then does the only logical thing in this situation by hurling the journal in the opposite direction.]
Fetch?? [... well, it works with Naga.]

He stares at her for a good half a minute before turning and trotting over to get his journal, picking it up and bringing it back to her. He's not dropping it again though because he doesn't trust her not to toss it again.
This is not what he wanted, but he's not about to just let this one go! ]

When he comes back and doesn't let the journal go, her frown turns into a scowl.]
Fine, not what you wanted, I get it.

He drops the journal again and waits. Maybe she'll get what he actually wants this time! ]
