This can only end in someone being buzzed.
Who: Mitsuru Kirijo and Larry Foulke; with special guest appearance of Rise Kujikawa
What: Having a drink or two. Or however many.
When: January 27
Where: The Lux
Rating: C for Classy because Mitsuru. Also PG because Pixy.
He wasn't expecting to go out for a drink with a woman, but hey, he certainly wasn't about to complain. There were a few women around Valais so it's not like drinking with a woman was anything unusual, just in a place like this - and not at an airbase - maybe a bit unexpected.
What was especially unexpected was the one that he was heading to The Lux with. He'd met the woman just recently, and the way she dressed, spoke and her general mannerisms just screamed of 'rich' or 'general noblelady'. Certainly not the type that'd be typically going out to hang out with a mercenary. Their ways of life pretty much clashed, so one would think they wouldn't get along at all.
But, a drinking buddy is a drinking buddy, and she said she was old enough so he wasn't about to say the offer didn't extend to her. So he was on his way down the grand staircase to meet up with one Mitsuru Kirijo to head off to The Lux with. He certainly wasn't dressed fancy for the occasion (there was no reason to, it was just a casual social drink) but he still had his flight jacket just as he did last time.
Once in the lobby, he'll give a quick scan around the place, looking around for a certain familiar red-head.

'Future self' ... [He shakes his head, taking another sip of his own drink.] Still sounds just as absurd as everything else.
[But he's seen two personas in action, both of which healed him in some manner. Some things he'll loosely believe.]
When you say 'future self', just how far in the future are you implying?

I have no knowledge when she was taken by the castle, though I met her in May of 2012. She isn't very different from what she looks like now, if she isn't a fairy of course.

[Remembering that date just makes him frown slightly. He's gonna need some time to get over that.]
If nothing else, what you just said really does prove that time is irrevelant to this place. Seeing as though I was in Belka in 1995.
[He scoffs in annoyance.] I guess that shouldn't surprise me if worlds aren't an issue either.
no subject
I'm curious about where you came from. I'm sure there is no such country as Belka where I am from, but your attire would not be out of place in the armed forces from my world.
no subject
I can't imagine militaries being any different.
[He shrugs then.] Not sure what there is from the Belkan Federation that you'd be interested in. If you want to know anything, just ask, I suppose.
no subject
I have things I wish to know, however I can't think of which to ask...
[She pauses for a second to adjust her posture. She looked up and stopped sliding her finger on the glass]
Although the thought of these multiple worlds made me wonder... Would there be another you in my world, and would there be another me in yours? I wonder how their lives would be different from ours...
no subject
Somehow, I doubt that. The idea of other worlds is hard enough to swallow, but I think there being parallels of us in said differing worlds is a little too far out there. Even for this place.
no subject
I see.
[Mitsuru starts nodding off, apparently she's a sleepy drunk]
no subject
Don't go falling asleep on me yet, kid. At least wait until you're in your room for that.
[He'll leave money for the drinks on the counter for the ghost to collect while he picks up Mitsuru's coat - gently, mind you, since he remembers there's a sleeping fairy in the pocket - and extends his free arm to her to help her up if she desires... and to make sure she doesn't fall over when standing. He wouldn't be surprised if he had to carry her up anyway.]
no subject
Ugh... I wouldn't be drinking this much again anytime soon... [she scoffed, with a barely noticeable smile on her face]
no subject
I admit, I'm surprised you got through as many as you did.
[If she were a fellow pilot, he'd probably have called her a lightweight. But she'd confessed to not drinking much before, so that fact wasn't at all surprising.]
What floor's your room on? We'll probably have to take the elevator, depending on how well you can walk.
no subject
I'm on the fifth floor... Room 514. The elevator would be a better choice, as well...
no subject
Fifth floor, huh? The elevator it is, then.
[He'll start leading her out of the Lux then to take her to the elevator. Not that he wanted to use it - he was more content with walking the whole way - but he wasn't necessarily going to carry a woman up four flights of stairs. He'd briefly consider the idea of just letting her sleep in his room for a while, but with Rise in the pocket of that coat, he wasn't about to do that. The kid would probably accuse him of wanting to take advantage of Mitsuru, even though he has absolutely zero interest in doing that.]
no subject
Arriving at the fifth floor, they walked a bit more until they got to the door to Mitsuru's room]
no subject
When they stop at her door, he glances at the nameplate before looking back over to Mitsuru.]
You keep the door locked, or is it open?
no subject
no subject
He shrugs and glances down to where her holster is just to know where the pocket she was referring to was before he reached over and slipped his hand into her pocket. Immediately feeling the key, he pulled it out and went to unlock the door.]
Guess I should've known you of all people would keep the door locked.

He gets her over to the bed and helps her sit down before turning and hanging the coat on a chair.]
Y'think you can manage from here?
no subject
Thank you, Pixy... I'll see you tomorrow, perhaps. [Mitsuru nodded and rubbed her temples]
