IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

Hey, look at all the toys... go have fun.

[Church sets his squirming toddler down and she immediately takes off, checking everything out and jabbering excitedly.]

Please. Tell me that at some point they at least slow down.

[South watches his girl, for a moment overprotective and wary, but eventually she settles and offers him a wan smile.]

Nope. They only get faster.

[Payton, excited at New Person, toddles haphazardly over to Church, and offers him a block. Both he and Piper have the blonde hair and ice blue eyes of South and North, and Payton himself certainly looks a little like his uncle.]

[Easy South, he's not ignoring the kid, just letting her explore.]

I'm doomed.

[He rolls his eyes melodramatically and sighs. Then notices Payton and takes the block with a small but friendly smile.
Not Carolina Beth notices too and the pig-tailed red-head races over with a ball which she holds out insistently to Church. When he takes it from her she smiles like she won some unspoken battle against Payton.]

[It's more what's this new kid going to do to mine than Church watch your offspring.]

Yup, pretty much.

[South watches the kids interact, narrowing her eyes at the little redhead. Payton seems unperturbed, running back for another block and then handing it to Beth.]

[Piper, also watching, seems to think she's not getting enough attention, and her face squinches up as she starts the first preamples to a good long cry. As soon as South notices, she sweeps the girl into her arms to comfort her.]

[But she levels a sly grin at Church.] Does York know you have a kid with Carolina?

[He's watching for that too, chill.]

Yeah, York knows I have a kid... Wait, what?

No. I mean, I didn't have this kid with Carolina.

[Beth watches Payton critically as he goes and gets another block, like she's eying him up. When he offers it to her instead of Church she takes it and smiles at him like he is now her new best friend.]

Why would you think I had a kid with Carolina?

Are you kidding me? She's like Ms. Bi- Ms. Fussybritches in miniature.

[Payton toddles back to the tower and looks at Beth. Is she going to join him? Piper, meanwhile, clings to her mother as she starts to settle.]

What? No she isn't.

[Beth is hot on Payton's heels and almost runs into him when he turns to check on her. She looks at the blocks and starts babbling and pointing to them (totally bossing at Payton) before she sits down and goes for the blocks herself.]

[Payton watches Beth for a moment, seemingly unpertrubed by her bossing, and then goes about working on a separate corner of the tower, content. South levels a smirk at him.]

[Church returns her smirk with a scowl. Once it looks like Beth is settled he'll sit too.]

Carolina isn't the only red head around you know, there's Natasha too.

Besides, Beth just ignores Carolina. She'll at least play with Nat.

[The little girl turns at the sound of her name and starts handing blocks to Church. He shrugs and starts stacking them.]

Natasha? Who's Natasha?

[Piper continues to cling to her mother, looking over at church with almost accusing eyes for a two-year-old. she takes after her mom]

Oh uh... just someone I know from around. [his fuckbuddy]

[He is totally making an awesome tower over here, so stop eyeballing him Piper. As soon as the tower is up though, Beth is going to just knock it right the hell over and laugh. Because what is the point of building a tower if you can't knock it over.]

She's that... woman, I got suckered into bringing to the outpost to a while back.

Gotcha. [Yeah she has those too!]

[And South can only laugh at him when Beth knocks his tower over.] God, what if Carolina and Natasha ever met?

Pfft... and that will give me nightmares all week, thanks.

[Nat is already not a fan of Carolina. Still, it wouldn't be nearly as bad as Nat and Tex ever meeting.
South's laugh only confirms that Beth did 'the coolest thing ever' and now as soon as Church gets more than five blocks stacked, down they go. She looks over at Payton expectantly. Why isn't he knocking over his tower? Maybe he needs help with that?]
