IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

Look at all these colorful balls!

[Mitsuru was sitting on a chair near the ball pit, keeping a watchful eye on Mariko who was running around the playroom. Her arms and legs are both crossed, so she looks very unapproachable. She's in deep thought you see. Especially after hearing Adachi's thoughts over the journal.

She gives a smile to Mariko whenever the little girl looks and waves at her. She couldn't help but feel a bond growing between them...]

[when Adachi enters the play room he's a little worried that most of this stuff might be below Mayoko's age level. But her eyes appear to light up when she sees that ball pit.

Adachi isn't letting her go off on her own yet though, not until he's found Mitsuru and found a place to watch her. So he's keeping her hand firmly in his before he spots the other persona user]

Ah, Mitsuru-san! [he waves before heading over, still not letting Mayoko run off on her own yet]

Tohru, good morning. [Mitsuru smiles and nods in reply, signaling Adachi and his kid over. Then she heard Mariko run to hug her, giggling. ]

Mariko, dear. Are you feeling tired?

Nope! But I'm getting thirsty. Can I have some fruit punch? Pleeeeaaassseee? I ate my vegetables today! [D:]

[Mitsuru sighs. She doesn't want Mariko to be too hooked with sugary things, but that was their deal... She grabbed a juice box from a big bag. She feels like a total suburban mom when she looked at it. But she has no clue how to open it. Riiiich. She looks at Adachi with an unsure expression. Mariko is just pouting at her mom]

[Adachi looked taken aback, and didn't notice his daughter shyly moving to hide behind him.]

Can... Can it be...?

Mitsuru-san doesn't know how to open a juice box?!

[he is sounding a lot more dramatic than he should right now like something out of a j-drama]

[While Mariko is waiting for her drink, she noticed Mayoko hide behind Adachi. She smiled and waved at the other girl]

[Adachi snickers, before dramatically gesturing with his hands]

My, I guess it can't be helped! After all this is a peasant juice box and all...

[but he drops it, smiling to show he's just joking around] Don't worry, don't worry, Uncle Tohru will take care of everything! [gently takes the juice box IS TOTALLY GOING TO IMPRESS HER YEAH YEAH!! Meanwhile as he's doing that, Mayoko just hides behind his leg some more but does wave back!]

[...except he has difficulty puncturing the hole with the straw. Soon his brow furrows and he pouts, repeatedly trying and using more pressure--]

[until it finally goes through but he's gone too far and now has juice all over his face.

[Mitsuru sighs, at the peasant jab and the whole juice splattering thing]

Thank you for that, Tohru. [She gently took the juice box and give it to Mariko, who giggles in excitement. Yay sugar!]

[Not the most enthusiastic thanks ever, but she means it. She looks at Mayoko again]

Hi~ do you want to play at the ball pit?

[Mitsuru clears her throat]

Have a seat.

[Mitsuru groans again. This suburban mom bag is just... ugh. Anyway, she grabbed two watch-like objects, one in each hand]

You mentioned you cannot summon your Persona without difficulty. These are what we call Evokers. It is an invention of the Kirijo Group that helps us summon our Personas.

[Mayoko jumps a little, then looks up at her dad for approval. Adachi smiles and nods while trying to wipe his face and finally lets go of her hand. Mayoko starts beaming and finally steps forward]

"S-Sure!"

[with her off Adachi goes to sit with Mitsuru. Her gift takes him by surprise.]

E...vokers? W-Wait, they're for Persona summoning!?

[he takes evokers cautiously in each hand, staring at them]

How'd you get a hold of them here? And... why for me?

Satonaka spoke of you. Of what you did before all of this.

[Mitsuru sounded serious, but she doesn't look afraid or angry at Adachi despite knowing of his background. She looks and acts around him like he's a normal person. She looks to Mariko and Mayoko playing in the ball pool and being acquainted. A corner of her lip lifted at the sight. At least Mariko is good at making friends unlike her]

I have been to Inaba before the Castle found me, and I'm well aware of this phenomenon known as the "Midnight Channel". What you did to those people was unforgivable.

[She turned to look at Adachi straight in the eyes]

... However, that does not make you irredeemable. Even Satonaka believes that. Everyone is capable of such actions if pushed too far in the wrong direction. Hearing you in the journal, and seeing Mayoko... I believe you really do wish for another chance to make things right. These Evokers, they will lead you to a different path. Use it to protect other people in the future.
