IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

I'm pretty proud of it myself. [Eyes the cabinet.] What do you think the chances are of there being bat onesies in there?

Pretty good, I'd think. The castle isn't being subtle.

[dorkwonder]

It's not, although they are cute on him. I don't think anyone else will make the connection. [Besides Cass, of course. Speaking of which...]

When do we want to take him to meet Cass?

[secondchances]

I'm ready whenever you are, Tim. [She's not excited for Cass to pick up on how uncomfortable she is, but oh well.]

[dorkwonder]

I was thinking in a couple of days. That'll give us time to fully check this place out. [Like herself, he's not exactly in a rush.]

[secondchances]

[She goes back to petting his hair, nodding.]

Were you being honest about the nap thing? If you're tired, you should sleep while he's knocked out. I'll keep an eye on things.

[dorkwonder]

Mostly. A nap would be nice. [Physically, he's fine. Mentally and emotionally, he's worn out.]

[secondchances]

[She figures. Steph rolls onto her back.]

C'mere, then.

[He can use her as a pillow, too :') ]

Don't have to ask me twice. [Wraps his arms around her, putting those boob-pillows of hers to good use.

Closes his eyes over, knowing he made he right choice when he decided to stay instead of walking away. How could he walk away from this? Even he's not that crazy.]

[She goes back to petting his hair once he's settled. She's not in the mood to nap at all, but she does like the feeling of him sleeping on her.]

[Falls asleep within a few minutes, which is a testament to how comfortable he feels around her and quite the feat, after the day they've had.]

[Sleep is precious to bats, so she lets him rest, still save for the fingers against his scalp.]

[Who knows how long Tim could have slept for. It's entirely possible that he would have slept for the rest of the evening. As nice as that sounds, Jack has other plans for him.

When Jack wakes up and discovers he is no longer on Steph, he begins crying, causing Tim to wake with a start.]

Hwuh?

[secondchances]

It's alright. Baby. [Nods in the direction of the crib.]

I'll get him. You go back to sleep.

[dorkwonder]

Mmmk. [Once again, he tries to go back to sleep but isn't having much luck.]

[secondchances]

[Meanwhile, Steph's trying to get Jack to stop crying with little success.]

[dorkwonder]

Whatswrong? [Mumbles from the bed. Currently, his face is planted into the mattress.]

[secondchances]

Uh--diaper's fine, he's fed, so Idon'tknowyet. Shh, shh, it's okay baby boy...

[dorkwonder]

[Yawns a couple of times before stumbling out of bed. Walks over to her, leaning in to inspect Jack.] Hey, buddy. What's wrong?

[the baby stares up at the two of them and begins to calm down.]

[secondchances]

... well, that was easy.

[dorkwonder]

I guess he likes seeing us together. Want to take him to the bed with us?

[secondchances]

Guess so. Lead the way, pops.

[dorkwonder]

[Does just that, getting comfortable on the bed once again.]

[secondchances]

[She sits next to him, keeping Jack on her lap for the moment.]

A little more needy than Ace, but less fur on my clothing. Not terrible.

[dorkwonder]

[Holds his hand out so the baby can latch onto his finger again.]

Looks to me like someone is doing a little doting.
