IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.
Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.
It's going to be a long week.
(ooc: Use this as a catch-all post! This will be the only mass post for the Sunny Skies Retreat, so you may use it for any day that you'd like. Feel free to make your own posts and/or sections whenever you'd like!
SECTIONS: BEDROOMS | PLAY ROOM | PETTING ZOO | POOL | GARDENS | THE CASTLE)

Okay! I got three beef bowls in here and some miso soup. I'll go heat them up [Convenient]
Thank god I don't have to cook... [Her failure of an awful tasting omelette still gives her Vietnam flashbacks]

Yeah! Papa's the best!
[Rise gives Shiori a curious glance at that. Was she trying to thank Chie or cheer her on?
She doesn't get much time to think about it, though, because Shiori's tugging on her hem again.]
Mama, come see!
2/3
[Rise reaches down to adjust the hem of her babydoll as she follows Shiori to the play area. The little girl points to an arrangement of blocks and fashion dolls, beaming proudly.]
Oh, wow! [Rise does her best to sound impressed, which is easy to do when humoring a small child.] Is that a... stage?
3/3
[Shiori grins, and points to each of the dolls in turn.]
That's Mama singing! And Papa protecting her from bad guys!
[The doll that was supposed to be Rise was dressed a little girlier and had longer hair, but they were both very pretty girl dolls. In fact, Shiori doesn't seem to have any boy fashion dolls... just some action figures that were standing in for the "bad guys".]

Ow!
[Chie's finger got lightly burnt from the hot steam while she was taking the film off from one of the beef bowls. She got distracted by Shiori and Rise. Strangely, she noticed how pretty Rise looked despite just waking up. A thought that she quickly shook off and made her face red for a second]
1/3
They're both really pretty, Shiori-chan!
[They are, too... for a girl her age, Shiori picked some pretty well-coordinated outfits.]
2/3
[Rise smiles at the compliment - both for her and Chie. She really is prettier and more feminine than she seems to think she is sometimes...]
3/3
Chie-se... um...
[Crap, what does she call Chie in front of Shiori? She just said "darling" as a joke earlier... she's not sure she can keep that up!]
... Are you okay?!

Fortunately, or unfortunately, Shiori looks up at Rise and chimes in with a completely innocent question.]
Mama, kiss it better?

Ah... that's okay, Shiori-chan! Papa's strong! She doesn't need...
[Why is she remembering Yukiko now?! It's not like Shiori was even suggesting...]
... It's just a little burn! Right?
[She looks to Chie to back her up...]

[She grabbed whatever just to show Shiori that her hand is alright. She swung two frying pans like weapons, a la Jet Li. Talk about Lethal Chef]

... Rise, on the other hand, rolls her eyes and gives Chie a "Really?" glare.]
Is the food ready yet, dear?
[Yep, that gave her enough sarcasm to fuel another stereotypical term of endearment. Rise's not even sure if she's acting anything like herself anymore, while trying to prioritize being Shiori's mother. But if it was anything out of the ordinary for Shiori, she certainly isn't showing it.]
no subject
[First "Papa", now "Dear"? This day just keeps getting more awkward]
1/3
[Shiori seems, to Rise at least, to be unnaturally excited at the idea of a beef bowl...]
2/3
[That seemed like a motherly thing to say, and an effective bribe for a small child. Did they even have dessert? Oh well, they could probably get something...]
3/3
Yes, Mama...
[... Not that a verbal agreement from a three-year-old means much...]
no subject
Wait, what? Oh parenthood and stuff. Right]
Whoa...
[looked behind her to see Rise talking to Shiori like that. She was surprised at the sudden burst of mother-like behavior there. Anyway...]
Ta-da! Food is ready!
