Who: Remus Lupin and Ruby Lucas.
What: A run under the moonlight.
When: Backdated to Saturday, May 25th. The night of the Full Moon.
Where: The forest.
Rating: PG.

It was good to feel the earth beneath his paws again, as much as he was somewhat wary to admit. His claws scratch anxiously at the dirt, nose twitching and ears pricked in anticipation and excitement for the night ahead of them. There is a new member of the pack joining them tonight, and though Remus is a little nervous to be around another Werewolf for the first time since he was bitten, he's anxious to make sure she feels safe and welcome with them. It's not often, after all, that he finds someone like him, who has felt the same pain and fear as he has.

With a soft huff, he turns to glance at the form of a large, black dog sitting patiently nearby. Remus moves to sit with him while they wait for Ruby, his tail twitching anxiously behind him.

It had taken Ruby a little while to get outside. She'd struggled out of the sling and had taken off the bandages that she'd gotten as a result of what had happened on that ship. Once she transformed, her wounds would be healed and there would be no need for slings or casts or any of that. She managed to get to the woods before she transformed, using her speed to move away from the castle.

Soon, the giant black wolf comes to a stop in front of Remus and Sirius. She shook her head a bit, delighting in how she was in control. Not the wolf.

Ruby studied Remus with interest, noting the differences in their forms. It was fascinating to meet a slightly different type of werewolf.

Her tail sweeps the ground, but she remains seated and allows him to sniff and study her. She wants nothing more than to run, to feel the wind rush through her fur and the earth beneath her paws. It's one of the few things that she actually likes about being a wolf, the freedom that a good run makes her feel.

She gives Remus a wolfish grin, gold eyes sparkling with amusement and delight. She tilts her head up, sniffing the air for a moment before looking back at him.
