Normally if Blues wasn't in the mood to see anyone or do anything, he'd just stay in his room. Today unfortunately all the equipment he had set up in there just reminded him of a certain person.

Doctor Thomas Light, His Father. The man who had introduced Blues to the world, tried to include him in every aspect of his life. Until Blues' power core had turned to be fatally flawed. After that, he was forgotten about, replaced, left to die. Well, then he woke up here and at least for the moment, has a new lease on life.

So today Blues can be found out at the Duck Pond, skipping stones off the water to pass the time as he wastes the day away.

Awkward moments is kind of what he's best at. He doesn't say anything at the moment. He wanted to be alone, he was used to being alone in situations like this. He had no idea what to say to someone else.

"Soo... Ever tried fishing?"

[whistles_the_blues]

"No. Don't eat, don't see the fun in pulling something out from it's home for no reason.

...You?"

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Well you don't have to eat them... Buuuut, no... My dad did, though. We have a river in my hometown where there's lots of fish during spring!"

[whistles_the_blues]

He grumbles a bit at the mention of her Dad, it's not about her and her dad. It's more about him and the issues he has with his.

"I guess. ...Never thought to try it with him?"

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"I was to young and small to hold that big fishing rod, and I just wanted to eat and play whenever we go camping" Chie chuckled.

[whistles_the_blues]

"Hm. Sounds about right." He shrugs a bit at that. He'll just let her talk for now, he doesn't exactly want to talk about any of the time he spent with his father, and he'd never been on an actual camping trip to really relate to what she was talking about.

"What do you usually do before Paradisa? You mentioned traveling and fighting. Do you do other things in between? There's got to be something"

[whistles_the_blues]

"Before? Hm. Hard to say, once I started traveling I never really stopped. Spent most of my life doing that. Helped who I could along the way. I never really stayed in one spot long enough to do anything."

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"That must have been a lonely life..."

[whistles_the_blues]

He shrugs. It was, but he wouldn't just up and say it like that to her.

"I never really fit in with humans, and there were no other machines that could think like I could."

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Maybe now would be a good time to pick up a hobby you could do with other people"

[whistles_the_blues]

"Hm... Maybe. I usually prefer to do things alone." He usually prefers to be alone, but it's not like he's shoo'd her off or anything.

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Well that's no fun. Doing fun things with other people is what makes life worth living!"

[whistles_the_blues]

"I'm content to do what I want, it doesn't matter whether I'm by myself or with someone else."

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Being content doesn't sound enough, though" Chie shrugs.

[whistles_the_blues]

"I don't see a problem with it."

[pint_sized_carnivore]

Chie shook her head. She thinks it's probably because he's a robot that his concept of fun is different? But she's not sure.

"I guess that's not bad that you don't see a problem with it. But don't you want more than that? Ever thought of living a normal life like us humans?"

[whistles_the_blues]

"I already have more than I expected, so I don't see a reason to complain." He scoffed a little at her next question.

"Maybe once, but I've got no problem with who or what I am. I wouldn't change a thing about me."

"Okay..." Chie nods. Yeah, she's not really in a great mood herself to be a good source of sunshine and rainbows right now. But she thought she could ask "Looks like you're got nothing to do right now. Want to do something?"

[whistles_the_blues]

Blues isn't usually one to accept sunshine and rainbows anyways.

"...What do you have in mind?"

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Have you been to the game room?"

[whistles_the_blues]

"Once or twice." ...He played vidjagames with Spike before he left.

[pint_sized_carnivore]

"Yeah, we could try something. They got some pretty decent simulators in there!" Get ready for some DDR, man.

"We could take a look." It beat the hell out of moping around here. ...DDR? Have you seen his feet?
