Old friends, memory brushes the same years
Who: Tex and North Dakota
What: Talking, all the talking, probably more talking.

If you need to talk there are few people better to talk to than North. He was by far the more pleasant of the twins but above and beyond that he was just a really good guy. He was one of the few Freelancers who was actually willing to give her a chance when she was first introduced. He’d given her a fair shake then and she was willing to bet he’d still do it.
All things considered she felt like she owed him that much too; she needed to know he was as ok as he could be given the situation. So when time permitted after the dinosaur island clusterfuck; she’d made contact and asked him to meet her here on the grounds of the Castle.
Ostensibly it had been to make sure he’d gotten through things ok, but she knew the conversation would come around eventually and that was more or less hat she needed right now. With everything else going on she needed him to be him and give her one stable thing that she could depend on.
