[He filters to her in the journal "got word about something, meet me in the lobby" and heads down there, figuring they can use her teleportation to go hunting for the small thing he's heard about. Some random little reptile that someone in town told him about that was eating things, and since he and Ashley both need time away from things, well it seemed only fair.

So yes, he's in the lobby waiting for her, dressed rather lightly for himself.]

[ ashley had no idea what james was on about with this one, but hey, they needed the time away. a distraction would be nice. and if it was chasing something, all the better.

so she heads down to the lobby, eyebrows raised at his attire. ]

[Exactly. Not that it'll be much of a chase, even if he has plans for later in the day, Ashley is far quicker then he is and between them well, the thing doesn't stand a chance. So he just smiles at her coming down.]

Not particularly, I was in town the other day and heard about something. A reptile, I thought we could go hunting for it before it gets too late and we can't see.

[ she rubs her hands together in anticipation. she could ask a million other questions, but at the moment, she much prefers to get going and do something before asking too many questions. ]
