Maybe you were asleep in bed last night. Maybe you were out on the town. Or maybe you were working on something super cool, which you didn't really need to be disrupted by, oh, say a world change or anything else stupid.

Too bad for you, that's just what happened.

At the stroke of midnight, everyone will find themselves back in their assigned castle rooms -- except they're not exactly the same as they were left…

[Lara was both confused and grateful that she's back in modern civilization. She figured it's the 80s thanks to the appliances and the fashion style of the people, but it's the closest she gets to 2013.

The bar was the first place she went to. She wasn't feeling hungry to order some food. She sat at the bar and ordered herself a Cosmopolitan.]

[When Bilbo walked through the rather ornate door and into the restaurant and swallowed thickly. Was this part of the castle too? It seemed rather...different to say the least. It was not gothic and old like the castle, but rather oriental looking. As if from another civilization long ago and far away.

He looked around desperately for a familiar face, as he was quite nervous being within a new place. He spotted Lara at the bar and walked over rather hurriedly.]

Oh, Lara. What has happened to the castle? It's all different.

[Lara looked over her shoulder]

It's another one of those world changes.

It is? Oh, I see. Do you know what world we are meant to be in this time, as I have no idea. [He sat at the bar, not without struggling to get onto one of the high stools.]

We're back to the modern world where I came from. But we're in a time before 1992, the year I was born, so to me this is a trip back in the past.

For me this is...well, entirely different from where I come from. This has to be the future for me because all the technology here looks alien to me. [Poor Bilbo is lost.]

[lara_the_explorer]

I can tell. [A chuckle before sipping from her drink] This is a country called Japan. They have a lot of traditional places that could be more familiar to you.

Japan? Oh. It is very different from Hobbiton, I can tell you that. [He laughed nervously, as he looked around.]

What drinks do they serve here?

Alcohol. They have a lot. Some vodka, some rum, whisky... There's even soft drinks.

Oh, they do? I haven't heard of those drinks before. Do you think they will have any ale or mead? [Maybe it was because he drank ale and mead with Thorin whilst on their journey.]

Or some elderberry wine?

Uhm. I'm not sure. They might as well... Let me check.

[Lara called to the bartender, speaking in fluent Japanese]

He said there is ale and mead at least.

[Bilbo just stared as Lara spoke in Japanese. He had no idea what she was saying.]

There is? Oh, that's good.
