Too bad for you, that's just what happened.

At the stroke of midnight, everyone will find themselves back in their assigned castle rooms -- except they're not exactly the same as they were left…

[Dairine moves to stand next to him in line.]

What do ya know, you're finally starting to learn.

[Getting into the train as it pulls up.]

It isn't that difficult to predict.

[Dairine follows, trying not to gawk at her surroundings too much. She already screams "tourist" with her bright red hair. She'd rather not call attention to it.]

What took you so long to accept it, then?

Habit.

[He was stubborn.]

Oi! Stubbornness is a good character trait for a detective to have.

It's also an annoying one.

[deductiongeek]

Oi! You really don't have that much room to talk.

[In a high-pitched, disbelieving tone:]

You must be joking! What could be annoying about me?

I'm surprised you need to ask.

[wizard_redfive]

[Dairine rolls her eyes and makes a swipe for his head like she'll mess with his hair. (She might if he lets her.)]

Watch it. You might think you're all that, but I'm still taller than you.

[deductiongeek]

[He sputters in response, unable to think of anything to say against that. He tries to duck away from her hand/]

[She nearly misses but tries again, readjusting her aim to rub his hair in all directions.]

See what I mean?

[Satistified, Dairine looks up at the train route map located above the door. No good... she can't read any of the characters. She'll have to rely on Conan then.]

So which one is your stop?

Beika City. It should be another three stops.

[He backs away and tries to get his hair back in order. He hadn't looked at the map for himself, trusting in his own memory of the train route.]

[Dairine stares at the city name three stops from their current location. And squints. Damn you, kanji. And damn you, castle, for taking her Speech-enabled powers of understanding languages.]

I don't see how you get "Beika" out of that.

[deductiongeek]

[Conan looks up in surprise. And then stares intently at the map.]

That isn't right. There are several stops missing.

Eh? Such as?

[deductiongeek]

All the stops in Beika.

[wizard_redfive]

What? They're just... gone?

[deductiongeek]

[He doesn't pause to explain before jumping to his feet and running to the door as the car began to slow down.]

Oy, Conan! Wait up!

[Dairine hurries to catch up with him.]

[deductiongeek]

[He jumps out the doors as soon as they open and rushes towards the station exit.]

Co-nan!!

[Chasing after him, she reaches out to try and snag his shirt. Maybe that'll get him to slow down.]
