As I write this down [OPEN]
Who: Castiel, OPEN
What: Arriving in Tokyodisa~
When: July 20th, around noon
Where: The hotel lobby
Rating: Probably PG at most
Once the sky had gone dark once again Castiel had picked a random direction and re-entered the forest, unsure of where he was and which way to go... And then suddenly he was somewhere completely different. He looked around rapidly, confused, turning in place a few times; the room was completely unfamiliar and his first thought was that Metatron had transported him somewhere, but he was alone.
The room was quiet, clean and inviting but at the same time cold and impartial, and oddly he could see daylight through the window; it had been the middle of the night last he was aware. He took a minute or two to explore the room, all nerves on edge and just waiting for someone or something to appear and break the supposed tranquility, but it never came.
Once he'd figured out that he was truly alone and there was nothing overtly dangerous in the room, his next concern was whether he could get out; when he tried the door and it opened without issue it was something of a surprise, as he'd expected to be locked in. It was, at least, a welcome surprise that he wasn't. Stepping out into the hallway, he glanced back at the door to take note of which one it was, and the sight of his name on the door was also unexpected and slightly disconcerting. He obviously hadn't ended up there on accident, and he needed to figure out how and why he had, and he set off cautiously down the hall.
It became apparent quickly enough that he was in a hotel, and that set him a little more at ease, because at least hotels were something familiar to him. Still, it was surreal in a way--the entire day had been--and he wasn't quite processing everything yet, moving on autopilot, nothing having quite sunk in just yet. As Castiel wandered into the lobby his steps slowed, cautious and on edge once again while he looked for someone who might be able to tell him something about where he was.
Figuring that out was the first step to getting somewhere else.

At sunset, Bruce usually came back to his room with a newspaper or book. As long as he was here, he might as well practice his Japanese. He was on his way to his room, when he saw the other man, someone he hadn't met before. He gave a small smile, though. If the man wasn't a native, well, Bruce was making it a point to be on good terms with the other residents of Paradisa.
"Hello."

Hello. What is your name?
no subject
I'm Bruce Banner. It's good to meet you. Are you new here?
no subject
Yes. I have been here less than an hour.
no subject
Um. Are you with the group from the castle?
no subject
Castle?
no subject
There are a group of here from a castle called Paradisa. It's hard to explain. My I ask, what brings you to Tokyo? Vacation?
no subject
He admits it because he's completely lost in this place, and at the moment, he can use any help that might be offered.
no subject
Do you mean other people brought you here against your will, you were ordered here, or you appeared here suddenly for no apparent reason?
no subject
[So the latter, he thinks, but it's still entirely possible Metatron's responsible for it so maybe the first.]
no subject
I'm sorry. I think you're with our group after all. All of us appeared suddenly in Paradisa, though most of us arrived at the castle proper. It's hard to explain.
no subject
[He's clearing ignoring the 'hard to explain' part.]

There is a world and a castle called Paradisa that are apparently magic. This castle has a sort of...sentience, almost. It tends to take people from their own worlds and bring them to itself. Once you're in Paradisa, it tends to play with you. We don't know why. We don't even know if an actual intelligence is behind everything.

Plays with us in what manner?

[That sounds fun, actually, or would have had he still had his powers. He supposes dinosaurs while human would be more of an issue.]
no subject
Lots of different ones. I personally saw a brachiosaurus, a stegosaurus, and a t-rex, to name a few. I think there were several eras represented.

Um. Apparently there's a bit of a tradition. The castle does it at least once a year. We wake up and for a week or two...we have children. These children appear and their ours, you understand? I've never had children, but for a week here, there was a boy and I know he was mine.
no subject
That sounds unpleasant.
no subject
No. The worst part is...it wasn't unpleasant.
no subject
If it were not itself, the end of it would be.
no subject
Yeah. I miss him, now, and it raised...a lot of questions.
no subject
[He's curious; as far as he understands many humans do, but some don't.]
