After all that confusion and weirdness, it looks like it might be over. The creature is encased in a translucent polygonal box, and doesn't look to be getting free any time soon.

[Rise is officially freaked out. First she gets dropped into this eerie place, then finds out she's trapped, and then all she remembers is running. What was that thing, and where is she?!

Fortunately, it seems to be trapped now, thanks to... whoever this woman is. All the adrenaline is catching up to her now, but she manages to approach. If anyone can tell her what's happening...]

Wha... what's going on?!

[She turns to look around... it looks like she's not the only one here. Maybe this woman can help them all get out...?]

Why are we here? And... what is that thing?!

[And why did this have to ruin her perfectly good Tokyo vacation?!!!!]

[The woman just gives Rise somewhat of a long-suffering glance, as if she's dealt with people in hysterics many, many times before.]

I don't know why you're here. You appeared on my transporter platform somehow and were taken into the cordon. That wasn't supposed to happen.

[SHE IS NOT IN HYSTERICS!!! She's just... worried. And scared. And right up on the edge of hyperventilating. Not hysterical at all.

At least she's still got the presence of mind to notice how the woman phrased that... but it takes her a moment to calm down enough to ask her next question.]

... What was supposed to happen?

A bunch of locals weren't supposed to come into the cordon too, that's what.

[Locals? Well... that's close enough to true. There are more important things to focus on than tiny details like that.]

It's not like we did it on purpose!

[Good job, Rise. Shout at the woman who probably just saved your life. That'll solve things.]

[She doesn't really seem bothered.] I didn't think so. It doesn't matter, though. I'll queue up the transporter to bring you all back.

[Wait... so she can do that? Just send them back?

The most reasonable thing to do would probably be to thank her for helping them. This isn't what Rise does.]

... Fine.

[Crossing her arms, she lets out a huff. It's just easier to be angry than terrified right now.]

[To illustrate, the woman brings her wrist up to speak into it.] Bob, how's the transporter coming?

[The response from her wrist is a digitized male voice.] The power grid in this place is primitive. It's going to be a few more minutes to queue up for that many of them.

[A few minutes? She can deal with a few minutes... assuming...]

That... it... [She's glancing at the encased creature, keeping her distance as much as possible while still near the strange woman.] ... it's not gonna get out, right?

[Rise doesn't even want to be this close to it. She turns to walk away and find a spot to rest for a couple of minutes. Then she can go back to Tokyo and enjoy the rest of whatever time they have left there.]
