so full of this adventure;
Who: Henry and YOU
What: INVESTIGATION
When: Sometime this afternoon
Where: Out in the castle courtyard
Rating: pg for fairytale nonsense
[Henry is doing research.
Between all he castle's changes and Arya's loss, he hasn't had a lot of time to do it. But today he's doing it out in one of the castle courtyards, because the library was stuffy, and the pup Robb gave him was antsy. He has books all around him, and a journal separate from the castle's open in his lap, where he's taking painstaking notes. August wanted to rewrite his book, the book the castle took from him, and he's going to make sure it's as complete as possible.
However, a disproportionate number of the books are open to 'Rumpelstiltskin.'
Henry's wolfdog pup, still full of energy, is running about around him, pawing at dirt and sticking his nose into bushes (and occasionally Henry's lap). But he never wanders too far away from Henry himself.
He comes close to nudge Henry's shoulder with his nose, and Henry reaches up to pat his head.]
Don't worry, boy, I'm almost done. We can race after.

So she shakes her head and reaches over to take his hands, gently guiding them palm-to-palm so that his fingers intertwine. ]
I will teach you the Lord's Prayer, as it is good to know the ways and why they are so, but what matters most is your heart and your sincerity; your trust that you are heard even if it does not always seem so. You must accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior. Can you do this? I will teach you all you wish if you so try, and in time I think your heart will find peace for it.

He knows about Jesus, knows that people pray to him when they're afraid, but--]
What is he saving us from?

[ She presses her own hands together, held just below her chin. ]
For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting.

[Said in the short, uncertain way children do when they don't want an adult to see that they still don't understand.]
How does it go? The prayer.
wow you should see how they spelled this in 1526...
Oh our father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Let thy kingdom come; Thy will be fulfilled as well in Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, even as we forgave them which trespass us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
[ Here she crosses herself. ]
sound-it-out competition.....
... Do you have to say it just like that every single time?

Here, allow me.

but we won't.To the little Lord Henry,
May this prayer help guide your heart, as other will to come. May it soothe your soul, as you learn of His Almighty grace and love. May you know yourself to be in my prayers forever and a day, and should you think of me so do I bid you pray for me in turn.
Yours in the fondest of affections,
Anne Boleyn
And after that the prayer follows. It's painful not to sign as 'Anne the Queen', but by now she has been forced to become used to it. Once it's all through, she carefully hands it back. ]
When you feel comfortable, I will teach you more.

Thanks. I'll practice, I promise.
[Anything can help.]
