What: Sam wanders around the Castle!

Where: The Lobby (and really anywhere in the Castle, he's doing a lot of wandering, but the intro is set up for the lobby)!
Rating: Warnings for exclamation points!!!!!! Otherwise lolnope. Action!spam is preferred so I can get a good jump on things. <3

[Sam honestly isn't exactly sure how he ended up here in what looks like a too-fancy lobby, but he knows it involved a lot of wandering, going down some stairs, going up others. His small chucks shuffle across the floor as he stares out at the large space from where he starts down the staircase toward one of those couches. Part of him guesses that this isn't LA, but how could he have gone anywhere besides?

Curiously, he regards the first couch he comes to, sitting himself down on it and folding his legs. At least this is better than his previous plan of riding off to the park to sit in the rain. He's still more than a little soaked, but that's not important to him right now.]

[Sam frowns a little and shakes his head, calling just one more time. Maybe his dad was just in the back or something.] Dad?

[He puts his hand on Sam's shoulder.] He's not here.

[Sam's shoulder tenses under Bucky's touch, frowning further at the relatively empty arcade. This hurts. This hurts so much that he doesn't want to be tough, he just wants to go somewhere, anywhere.]

[Bucky knows that look, he's seen it too many times before on other boys in the orphanage.] We should get out of here. [He starts to steer him back towards the door.]

[Sam keeps looking over his shoulder at the arcade, even as Bucky steers him away, hoping that maybe his dad'll just pop out. Somehow. ]

I want to stay.

[Bucky stops walking, and then gets an idea. He doesn't want to let him out of his sight.] Since I don't know what an arcade game is, want to teach me?

[Sam glances up at Bucky.] Really?

Really. [Bucky laughs, then realizes he never introduced himself.] Sorry, I'm James Buchanan Barnes. Just call me Bucky.

Bucky. [Nodding, glancing back toward the arcade. Well, he could probably pick out one game or two (or five) that he could teach Bucky how to play. ] Do you have a quarter?

This place actually doesn't use quarters. It uses Caisos. And..[Here's where he smirks] everything in the Castle is free.

[Raising his eyebrows, looking out at the arcade with a totally different expression, gauging just how much time he could waste in here.]

I can teach you all of them!

[Bucky laughs at that.] I think we have our work cut out for us, kid.

[Sam just grins as he steps up to the nearest one, eyebrows furrowed in concentration as he stares at it. There's two positions for people to play, which is perfect for teaching on.]

Okay. You move with this. [He waggles the joystick.] Punch with this button and cast magic with this one. [Gesturing to the red and blue buttons respectively before pressing the start button between them.]

[Bucky thinks he's got it, but as soon as the game starts up, he's struggling to keep up with Sam. So, as a tactic, he tries to distract him.] You never told me your name, y'know!

[Well Sam is the son of an arcade master. He pounds the punch key faster than some people blink, biting his lip in concentration. Punch! Magic! Punch! Punch!]

Sam Flynn! [Not even looking up from the game.]

[Yeah, Bucky is losing badly. If anybody asks, he let Sam win.] Sam, huh? Better than calling you just 'kid' at least!

[Sam just grins as he continues to pound the punch button.]

Yeah, Sam. [Oh man, he is so close to winning! So much concentration.]

[...And that would be the Game Over screen for Bucky. He is honestly not surprised.] Damn.

[Sam glances up at Bucky with a bright grin.] That's how you play a game!

[He returns the bright grin.] Thanks for teaching me. Even though I lost terribly. You're pretty good.

[Sam grins ever winder at Bucky.] My dad made games.

[So that's why he was looking for his Dad in here.] Really? That's amazing.

[Sam nods eagerly.] He made Tron and Space Paranoids!

Never heard of it, but I'll definitely take your word for it, Sam.

They're the two biggest games ever! [His excitement cannot be contained in the slightest.]
