Where: The Lobby (and really anywhere in the Castle, he's doing a lot of wandering, but the intro is set up for the lobby)!
Rating: Warnings for exclamation points!!!!!! Otherwise lolnope. Action!spam is preferred so I can get a good jump on things. <3


[Sam honestly isn't exactly sure how he ended up here in what looks like a too-fancy lobby, but he knows it involved a lot of wandering, going down some stairs, going up others. His small chucks shuffle across the floor as he stares out at the large space from where he starts down the staircase toward one of those couches. Part of him guesses that this isn't LA, but how could he have gone anywhere besides?

Curiously, he regards the first couch he comes to, sitting himself down on it and folding his legs. At least this is better than his previous plan of riding off to the park to sit in the rain. He's still more than a little soaked, but that's not important to him right now.]

Cool. ... I liked bein' seven, that was a good year. What kind'a stuff do you like to do, Sam? Then I can be sure to show you where it all is around here.

[sameteam]

I like to learn things and ride my bike. [And more pressing buttons! He doesn't feel bad at all for whoever might ride the elevator next.]

[ectobabble]

Yeah? We've got some great trails out in the woods - once spring gets here, I bet they'd be a lotta fun on a bike. [ding. top floor, next step, rooftop] C'mon, maybe we'll be able to see 'em from the roof ...

[sameteam]

We're going on the roof? [Oh boy he's getting even more excited.]

[ectobabble]

Well, yeah! Best way to see what's out there. It's a little cold, but we won't be up there for too long, so it shouldn't be that bad. [said the New Yorker. your mileage may vary]

[sameteam]

[Sam nods efficiently. Considering this kid's from LA, it might be a little colder than he expects.]

[ectobabble]

[and once they're up there he opens the door. it takes a few steps out for the full, sweeping view of the town and forest to be visible, but once it is....] Really something, isn't it, kiddo?

[sameteam]

[Sam eagerly takes those few steps out to gaze out at the incredible scenery.]

It's really pretty out here.

[ectobabble]

Sure is. [he grins, and points past the horizon] Way out there? That's Lente's Point, I've been on a camping trip out there, once. Really, really pretty.

[he turns, and points again, almost in the opposite direction, to the faint shapes of mountains in the distance] And those're the Cinderbreach Mountains. Once you get out past those, there's Libet Castle. It's just like this one, only it's abandoned and in ruins.

[sameteam]

[Sam follows Ray easily enough, taking in the information like the sponge he is.]

Did you go on an adventure out there?

[ectobabble]

Sure did! It took a whole bunch of us to push the doors open, then the bridge we were crossing broke and we all got separated ... my group made it into the main castle, but some people found a whole underground train system and got it running, so everyone could get out. And then - oh, geez, dig this - there was a GIANT worm monster that chased us out! We ended up crashing the train right through the side of a mountain to get away. I sprained my ankle, but... oh, man, the whole thing was awesome!

[Sam listens intently, his eyes going wide at the bridge breaking and the underground train system. He loves hearing stories like this.]

A giant worm monster? Are those things here too?

No, I'm pretty sure that was the only one. I've sure never seen anything like it here.

[sameteam]

[Sam nods as he continues to stare out at the new environment.]

Do we have things other than ghosts here?

[ectobabble]

Oh, yeah, all kinds of things! The castle doesn't only bring in humans. I know some talking ponies, and a dragon, and some vampires, and a few demons ...

[sameteam]

[He glances over specifically at the mention of dragon.] There's a dragon?

[ectobabble]

Yah. He's just a kid - his name's Spike - but he's really nice.

[sameteam]

Like me. [Kids are cool. He hasn't hung out with them in a while, but eh.]

[ectobabble]

Yeah! I bet you guys would get along great.

[sameteam]

I'll find him. [Glancing back up at Ray.]
