Who: Castiel, Meg, and Silva
What: Silva and Meg have unfinished business, and Castiel is just incredibly unfortunate
When: Friday, December 6th
Where: Out in the town, elsewhere
Rating: PG-13 to R for violence and probably language
Castiel managed to escape the Castle that morning with only minimal kissing, and decided it was a good day to go exploring the town a bit more. He had no desire to fight with mistletoe and was overdue to find out more about this place anyway, so even though he really wasn't fond of the cold Castiel had set out to look around.
It's been a few hours and he's stopped at a few shops, found a snack, and continued on to the arts district to check out the church. It's beautiful but doesn't hold his interest for a particularly long time and so he continues, wandering around and just watching people go by, still exploring but more aimlessly than before.

People did seem to come back if they died here, but James hadn't, and she couldn't help wondering if Silva had figured something out. Panic set in at the mere idea of being separated from Cas again, and she looked over at him pleadingly, silently begging him to run, to flee to get himself out of danger. She could play this game with Silva all day, but she couldn't handle the idea of losing him.]

He considers trying to grab the pipe, or go after Silva with his hands, but he's losing blood and blackness keeps threatening to invade his vision. His eyes flutter as he supports himself on his hands, but suddenly his mind clears again as he thinks of something, and he tilts his head upward.
The devil's trap. If he can break it, Meg will be entirely capable of overpowering Silva despite her injuries, and that would do them all a lot more good than just offering tiny distractions. It's too far for him to reach, but he has an idea, and with great effort he ignores Silva and Meg and just dips his fingers into the hole in his shoulder to dig out blood to gather in his palm.]

Tell me darling ... Are you starting to take me more seriously now?

She didn't know what he was thinking, but she knew she had to keep Silva's attention on her. She struggled and turned up the theatrics, letting her tears flow freely as the knife slid into her side. When he spoke, she looked frightened for a moment for him, playing into his game, giving him the pain he wanted to see.
When the knife was almost to the hilt, Meg moved quickly, maneuvering and taking hold of the knife. Her expression changed instantaneously to a delighted grin and she twisted the hilt herself, barely managing to whisper:]
I'll never take you seriously, you pompous douchebag.
[She spat salt in his face, glaring up at him defiantly.]

He knows from experience that even the small disruption is more than enough to break the hold, and a faint, almost hysterical smile tugs at the corner of his mouth before his strength finally gives out. His vision goes black and he collapses, unconscious, back to the floor, his last waking thought a hope that Meg will give Silva what he deserves.]

Wrong answer.
Dear me you really should get your lady under control Mr Castiel.
[ He's still looking at Meg when he speaks ... Savoring her looks of anguish. Castiel isn't that interesting to him anymore.]

She'd turn him inside out and show him his own insides some other time so he could learn what real torture was; right now she needed to get help for poor Castiel. Another pang of guilt ripped at her heartstrings, but her rage overtook it and she pulled herself up to her feet, pinning silva to the ground and choking off his airway with a clench of her fist.]
He [She nods sideways at Castiel's unconscious form as she circles Silva and tightens her fist, almost completely cutting off his trachea.] knows how to control me just fine. You, on the other hand [She laughs] just took a perfectly good truce and earned yourself one hell of an enemy.
[She releases his throat before stooping down and grabbing him by his shirt, dragging him up to her eye level. Her throat is still burning with the salt and her voice is strained, but she manages to get out what she wanted to say.]
You and me, we'll chat again sometime. And knowing Cas as well as I do, I'm guessing he might want in on it, too. You have no idea who you just tangled with, slick. Why don't you mull that over while you're running scared? [She lets out a delighted, hoarse giggle.] Tell ya what? I'll even give you a head start.
[With that, she sends him flying, slamming him against the wall. Trust, she wishes she could just post up and give him a day in the life on the rack, but that would have to wait for now.
She turns on her heel and rushes to Castiel's side, kneeling down and cupping his face with her hands. She pats his cheek lightly, trying to get him to come to, all the while murmuring in a low, strained tone.]
Come on, Cas. We gotta get you up and get you some help. [Tears well up in her eyes again, completely genuine this time. She hastily swipes at them with her coat sleeve before leaning down and pressing a light kiss to his temple and whispering,]
I am so sorry you got dragged into this.

The communication is silent and limited, but still clear enough; he's okay, worry about making sure Silva isn't going to come at them again and that Meg herself is alright to be up.]

He under-estimated Castiel. His bait clearly had more heart then he originally thought.
As he flys through the air landing with a thud. All he can do is pick himself up and stagger out of the warehouse quickly. Her sentiment for the other man would clearly allow him a quick getaway.]
Fin.
Cas is clearly in bad shape, and all she wants is to get him back to the castle and make sure he's okay. She gingerly helps him up, carefully keeping his injured arm still and trying to keep the jostling to a minimum.
It would be a long walk, but she'd get him there. She had to.]
