Okay, well. This sure was a thing, a weird happenstance. Vriska stares at the weird egg, frowning at it.

"But why though?"

After looking at the note, she's scooping up the thing in both hands, squishing it close to her chest as she makes her way down the hall. Well, better not risk it. Gotta listen to the note.

Crowley was a big name in the castle. Hell, he was there for the longest, so of course she'd know where and how to find him, if not, where to start looking. It was easy enough, his room just down the hall from hers. BETTER KNOCK, FIRST!

And right when Crowley decides to speak with dissent against the urging of the note, that's when the egg starts shaking in Vriska's hands... and starts cracking.

"Great. Now you've gone and done it!"

"What? I didn't do anything, you're holding the bloody thing!"

He sets a fireball alight in his hand, ready for the worst, watching that horrible thing cracking.

"Wh--" Vriska looks down at it, eyes widening at a tentacle slipping out.

"N-No! I didn't do anything!" She gasps when another very small tentacle appears shortly after, more cracks showing on the eggshell's surface, almost dropping it in the process. "It's this one of your jokes?"

Someone, it has tentacles, why does it have to be tentacles? Crowley grimaces, stepping back, raising his arm to keep the thing from...touching him, or something.

"Oh yes, I'm well known for making tentacle babies come out of eggs. That is a thing I'm famous for."
