[ Gwaine has not been educated as to the fine art of wishing. This not only explains why he is not currently sitting atop a mountain of the most random collection of wished-for items since Spike the dragon grew several meters, but also why he is walking into the Lux and heading for the bar. He has no money on him and he is not used to drinking so much water so he is carefully eyeing the place. When he fails to spot anyone, he slides under and behind it. Stealing the first bottle he can find, he attempts to shuffle out without being seen, the bottle hidden against his chest. ]

I haven't said a thing about him. It's common to swear on your title or your family or your parents.

But this is all about you, brat.

[ He finishes grabbing his things, prepared to leave. He does not owe Zelos any explanations. ]

Why not? Are you ashamed of something?

[ Remember the bottle that started everything, Zelos? It is being lobbed at your face. ]

[He sees the throw at it coming at him. Not only does he stand up to jump out of the way, but he grabs his sword and swings it so he slices the bottle with enough speed and force so it cuts right in two - both sides falling to the ground and liquor spilled everywhere]

[He looks at Gwaine, a very cocky look]

Hm.

[impetuous]

[ He looks impressed before he remembers he is mad at Zelos. ]

You look like a girl.

[ He turns around and stomps to the door. ]

[He simply laughs at that and calls after him as he wipes his sword with a napkin from the table]

I train at dawn, near the gardens. If you wish to find me.

[ He stops, turning at the waist enough to look at Zelos. After a moment he grins. Bending down, he pulls a knife out of his boot. ]

By the way, [ he swings it tauntingly in the air ] you missed one.

[ Sliding it back into place, he runs out. He's already planning how to steal one of Arthur's swords before dawn. ]

[He looks mildly surprised at the knife pull, then a smirk. Guess he'll know where to check next time too!]

Brat.

[When the kid runs out, he'll turn back to the bar and sheathe his sword. Ugh, the stench of liquor without even having a drink, how terrible.]
