It's beginning to look
Who: Everyone
What: Waking up in a winter wonderland
When: December 10th
Where: ???
The first sign might be the slight in the air that wasn't there before. The second might be that your bed is too lumpy or the blanket scratchy. Maybe you're by yourself or with someone else. Either way, your eyes open to find a dingy one-room cabin, covered with dust and flurries of snow. It's as if the old residents walked out one day and never came back.
Once you stumble outside, you'll find you're not alone. The cabins and buildings are arranged around snow-covered streets, radiating from a modest central square. The well at the center of town is even frozen over. As if to brighten the place up, garlands, wreathes, and ribbons hang from rafters and doors of the vacant buildings. Even some of the pine trees surrounding the area or scattered around the homes are decked with poinsettia and bows. It's all very peaceful to the point that you might even expect music to drift in on the air.
But there's noting. Just you, and the people you find yourself with. What do you do now?

[Wade wakes up because her nose is cold. She lifts a hand to cover it sleepily and registers that her hand is covered by a thick glove. It's when she opens her eyes to find the cabin that she sucks in a loud breath of surprise and sits upward]
Whoa! Where am I?
B -
[Later on, she can be found searching the area, hands shoved in her pockets. She pauses here and there to peer into the frosted shop windows, feeling both hungry and cold.
It seems wrong to break in, but it's not like anyone is around, right?]
B
Thinking of doing something bad?

...oh my God... [She presses a hand to her chest as she collects her herself]
Do you always have to do that?
no subject
[ :) ]
So, are you a thief?
no subject
Only when necessary. And it kind of is. Besides, is it stealing if there's not actually anybody here?
no subject
[He is, however, hanging around to watch.]
no subject
Seems like you'd know all about that kind of thing. [She is, however, testing the door to see if it's locked]
no subject
[He sounds genuinely curious.]
no subject
Why not? You're the Boogeyman. Seems like you'd know about things people usually do under the cover of night. [She lets out a small grunt of effort, which become a small yelp as the door gives way and she stumbles into the shop]
no subject
But I pay attention to the fear, not the theft.
[He follows her in.]
Now what?
no subject
We look for supplies. Warm clothes. Food. That kind of thing...
[She looks back at him]
I guess none of those are really a problem for you, huh?
no subject
[But he's still going to hang around!]
You aren't worried about depriving whoever owns this place?

[The morning air is broken by the sound a heavy wooden thud as a certain wizard forces open the door of his cabin, shoving aside the drift of snow nearly pinning it closed. The image dislodges yet more snow from the roof, which falls directly on Felix's head as he steps outside, eliciting a string of murmured Marathine curses.
He pauses to brush the snow from his heavy coat]
I suppose it was too much too hope we'd be able to pass the winter season in peace...

[It's closer to evening and Felix can be found struggling to hold onto an armful of branches and twigs as he makes his way back to the cabin he woke up in. With the day coming to a close, he knows for certain he has to try to make a fire, or face possibly unpleasant consequences]
