[A - Castle, adult!Rise]

[Okay, so Rise was just here in the castle the other day, absolutely no time has passed. In fact, just the other day or so, she was her past self, a shy and reserved little girl. So the others in the castle might be relieved to see her looking relatively normal again.

... Except she's ditched the twintails for loose flowing locks, and somehow she seems a little more mature? Something about her face, or the way she dresses. But most importantly, she's looking around the castle as if revisiting a place she hasn't been in years. She even smiles brightly and waves when she sees someone she recognizes.]

Hello~! Wow, you look exactly the same! Have you been here the whole time?! Or... wait, how long has it been?

[It might have been a long time, but she remembers time is... really weird here. Except it hasn't really been a long time at all, and the castle's just messing with her again.]

[B1 - Winter village, adult!Rise]

[Are you a reasonably attractive young man, or a reasonably attractive young woman that isn't Wade? You can bet at some point, the twentysomething version of Rise is snuggling right up to you. Teenagers are not excluded.]

So cold...!

[A brief pause for effect...]

Oh, you don't mind, do you? I thought maybe we could warm each other up a little...

[The way her voice trails off is incredibly suggestive, but is she serious or just teasing? ~~Depends on who you are, to be honest. If you're too young for her, she's definitely teasing. Adults could go either way.~~]

[B2 - Winter village, either Rise available]

[Rise has not taken well to this place, at all. She's a famous actress and model (or at least a teen idol on her way, depending on the date)... she's had to deal with pretty rough conditions for photo shoots, but she hasn't had to live in them!

If you're one of those people handling themselves much better, expect her to stick close. To her credit, she'll do her best to help, but she'll need to be looked after for the most part. And there's the occasional complaining...]

Ugh, this is the worst! How long is it gonna be like this?

[C - Back in the castle, normal teenage Rise]

[Open prompt for any CR checking on her! She can be found in her room, in the parlor near the music stuff, or in the summer beach area of the Four Seasons tower. After Christmas, she might be wearing one of her idol outfits in the parlor, rehearsing routines she hasn't attempted in far too long...]

[ Rise you sure have been changing a lot. Anna doesn't do more than blink when Rise snuggles up, because she can still sort-of hear thoughts and recognized her. ]

I can make it warmer? [ Did she ever mention that she has fire powers, she probably hasn't. ]

[In Anna's case, it's probably more that she's worried about the younger girl than herself.]

Mm, maybe a little! Are you warm enough, Anna-chan?

[Her tone is like a worried elder sister. She's all but pulled the girl into her lap, she's cuddling up to her so much. But it's all out of concern for their well-being! (Well, that and she thinks she's adorable, even moreso than when Rise was closer to her age.)]

Yes. My red keeps it warm. [ Which Rise might notice! Anna is quite a bit warmer than small children ought to be in this weather, but also doesn't have any feverish traits. And doesn't that sound a little weird when it isn't clear what she's talking about.

... Also are her eyes a little more magenta-red than usual? Couldn't be. ]

[She certainly does notice! She starts off a little concerned, but it seems Anna's fine aside from the unusual warmth. Which Rise decides to take as a blessing! She may have gradually snuggled up to Anna so much by now, she actually has pulled her into her lap. ... Sorry?]

Ahhh, you really are warm! So nice~!

Wait... I'm not too cold for you, am I?

[She belatedly realizes she might be making Anna uncomfortable, oops.]

And what do you mean, your 'red'?

It's okay. [ Not too cold at all.

Ah, she did not tell her this important thing. ]

I am the Red King, so I have Red Aura. [ Just holding her hands out and.. okay so its a little more magenta than red, but that sure is something like fire on her hands. ]

.. it is just less now.

Red Aura...?

[She watches Anna hold out her hands and almost jumps at the sight of the 'aura' in question, clutching the girl in her lap just a little bit tighter around the waist.]

Th-That's it?! Is it safe? It doesn't hurt, does it?

[Anna doesn't seem to be hurt, but Rise can't help but be concerned when she has no clue how this power works.]

It won't hurt me, unless I want it too. [ ... Because Saruhiko is a little messed up.

... It should be safe for Rise to touch, but Anna remembers what grasping the on-fire hand of a King could do, and shuts off the aura. ]

It will do its best to protect me, against everything, because I am the King. [ And only kings can kill kings. ]

The King...? ... We used to play a game like that...

[She doesn't think it's the same kind of thing, though. The King in the game doesn't get powers like that, for instance. But the most important thing is that this aura won't hurt Anna.

Her concern runs deep, though, and she subconsciously hugs Anna just a little tighter, resting her own cheek softly on the younger girl's head. It's not just for warmth, though it certainly does help.]

What kind of things does it protect you from?

... Everything? When Mikoto would fight Reisi, Reisi's sword would just not hurt his fists. There was a Strain once, who would punch things, and suddenly there's a neat hole in it, and when he punched Mikoto, nothing happened. Same thing with the strain who would jump really quick, his sword would start heating up but not hurt Mikoto's hand.

[ If Rise can't guess, Mikoto was a Red King. And Anna hasn't done much fighting. ]

[Wade's been on the lookout for little Rise ever since the nightmare incident, but the castle being the castle, it's made it a bit hard to keep track of her. She's a bit worried, casting her eyes around as she makes her way into the lobby and comes right upon the far more mature version of her friend]

There you are! []A pause, as Rise speaks] What are you talking about? That was like...yesterday.

[Oh wow, it's Wade! Kind of strange seeing her and realizing they're about the same age now... she always used to think of her as someone older and reliable. But that's the castle for you.]

Wow... really?! What was I doing yesterday...?

[She was a little kid, doing shy little kid things. But it feels so long ago to her, she doesn't remember at all. (Plus the loss might not let her remember the days when she was little very clearly, anyway.)]

[After all that snow, Wade is more than happy to warm up, so she joins Rise at the beach, clad in a yellow bikini and wielding a picnic basket full of goodies.

She sets the basket down and sinks her toes into the warm sand with a sigh that's both happy and sad.]

[They'd very nearly matched! But Rise ended up going with her pink and white striped bikini instead. She has so many, they rarely all get used...

She's been all smiles in the (fake) sun today too, but she's also incredibly good at picking up subtle cues. So she glances over at Wade, curious, after that sigh. To comment or not to comment?]

Wanna go swimming? Or we could just hang out here! I'm just glad we have this place again...

[Yeah, she opts for being a perky bundle of energy for now! Maybe that'll help.]
