Who: Jacob Black & YOU?
What: Repairing a piece of junk in the middle of the night
When: Right now
Where: The castle courtyard
Rating: G
If there's one thing that Jacob remembered distinctly about Paradisa, it was one rule: "Be careful what you wish for."
Of course, being a teenager, rules can sometimes be momentarily forgotten.
He had wished for a bike. Not just any bike, but his bike. The one he'd rebuilt from scratch back home, and the one he'd ridden everywhere. Bringing it to life held so many memories, and it had been the best stress reliever and distraction when he'd needed it most. It was only natural he'd want that kind of possession with him. (And he couldn't exactly find the other bikes he'd left behind during his first visit.)
Paradisa, in a moment of kindness, had decided to give him his bike.
Except Jacob hadn't been specific enough. He'd received his bike, but it wasn't exactly in the state he left it. In fact, it wasn't even a whole bike. Paradisa had given him his bike from before he'd repaired it.
He had a lot of work ahead of him.
Jacob had started out the night hoping to go for a late night ride. Instead, he found himself in the castle courtyard with a shell of a motorcycle and its many pieces scattered about. Since he wouldn't be going anywhere, it wasn't like he had anything better to do with his time than begin to repair it.

On this particular night, he couldn't help but find himself rather distracted when he was approached by someone he, well, he had to admit: she was pretty hot.
"I could be."

"Well, is it yours or are you doing a favor for someone?"

"It's mine, alright. I just distinctly remember it being whole the last time I saw it."

"The castle."
Sighing, she shifted her weight a bit on her feet, just trying to not seem like she was hovering.
"How long do you think it'll take you to get it back together?"

Faith could understand the frustration behind that. "Need any help?"

"You fix up bikes before?"

She shook her head, feeling a bit stupid in offering her help when she didn't really know what to do herself. "It was a dumb idea."

She hovered there for a moment, before crouching down to pick up a piece of the bike. "All these pieces go to the bike?" Huh, she'd never thought about it before. She just knew how to ride them.
