What: Sam's messing around in the library.

[Sam shouldn't be doing this. He feels bad that Spike had to do this all by himself, but his curiosity is getting the better of him.

He makes his way into the fiction section, his fingers trailing along until he found a book that looked interesting. His fingers stopped on Moby Dick -- he had to read it for tenth grade English and hadn't touched it since -- and he considered it for all of a minute, before pulling it off the shelf.

He balanced the weight of the book his hands, then flipped about halfway through. As he did, he got a spray of saltwater to the face, like a wave coming up the side of a boat.

He laughed as he slammed the boat closed, feeling the water run down his temples. He shook his head a bit, the water flicking off out of his hair. Then he goes to find another book.

[then he glances over at Litwick.]

That's a Pokemon, right?

Yeah, she is. [Bonnie smiles down at the creature.]

Her name is Litwick and she's a ghost slash fire Pokemon. I want to give her another name, but I'm not sure what.

It's cool looking. Mine was ... kind of lame.

[bonniewitch]

Lame? Just how lame are we talking here?

[imnot_likeyou]

A giant yellow duck.

[bonniewitch]

What could this duck do? Like, powers and stuff.

[imnot_likeyou]

I think it was supposed to be psychic? But I could never get it to actually do anything.

[bonniewitch]

Oh, well that kind of sucks that you didn't get to see it. I still think that Litwick here has more abilities; she just hasn't shown them yet.

[imnot_likeyou]

Maybe you'll get to see them later on.

[bonniewitch]

I guess so. [she glances to the Litwick.] But I think I should speak to someone who might know more about them.

[imnot_likeyou]

There used to be a day care center -- I don't know if it's still around.

[bonniewitch]

Okay. Well I'll ask around or put it across the journal, see if someone knows. Thanks, Sam.

No problem. And if you don't find anything that way, there's probably something in the library.

[bonniewitch]

Yeah, someone is bound to have written something down or at least had a book about them.

[imnot_likeyou]

Plus, there have been people from that universe here. The library tends to pick up things from the people who live here.

[bonniewitch]

I did not know that. Maybe its got something about my world here, hidden among all these books.

[imnot_likeyou]

It's possible. It's one of the most comprehensive collections I've ever seen.

[bonniewitch]

No problem. Just be careful with them right now. They have a mind of their own.

Don't worry, I'll be very careful, Sam. I won't open them. It should be safe enough if I just look at the cover, right?
