Who: Kaito Kuroba (

What: Kaito thanking everyone for coming to his show and basking in the glory.
When: Saturday Night (May 5th) around 9:30
Where: An open and spacious room that could easily be employed as a room for a magic show.
Rating: At most PG13. But I doubt it'll be anything past PG.

[ Kaito is feeling mighty proud of himself as that was one successful show. He can't help all the jittery glee he's experiencing inside although any unprofessional feelings of joy aren't reflected anywhere on the outside. You'll find him dressed in a black suit and red tie with a smile on his face as he stands by the door to say goodnight and thank you to those residents that had decided to give his magic show a shot. ]

[ It's clear from the way he's standing that he's a born showman. Even now he has so much stage presence that it's almost as if he's still using some brand of magic. Oddly enough, he's not. He's just that good at presenting himself. He's also very gracious as he bows his guest out and thanks each one in turn. ]

I hope I didn't disappoint you in any way and of course, you are more than welcome to come and see my next show. And, please don't be shy about bringing a friend a or two.

[The last time that Bonnie had been to a magic show was when she was a little girl. When she heard via the journal that there was a magician, she decided to come along and see what it was like.

Bonnie wasn't disappointed as she clapped and cheered along to each display, clearly enjoying herself. When it was over, she stood up and gave a huge round of applause. She was about to leave when she spotted the magician himself by the door, bidding everyone goodbye.

She comes along to say hello, giving him a smile.]

That was really good. I would definitely come along to another show.

[ Kaito is very much a people person as he takes the comment with grace and smiles politely, it's not fake of arrogant but a smile of honest gratitude. ]

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and rest assured I'll mostly likely put together another show with all new tricks. And, of course, I would be overjoyed to have you back in my audience.

Oh, that's sweet of you to say. It's nice to have such a lovely host. [Bonnie is beaming now, holding out her hand to him.]

I'm Bonnie by the way. It's nice to meet you.

[ He probably said his name at the beginning of the show but he knows how impersonal a stage performance really is. It seems so personal on the stage-he makes it that way. It's part of the illusion-an obvious illusion since he knows nothing about the audience he's performing for other than they want to be amazed and it's up to him to deliver. ]

Kaito Kuroba. And it is my absolute pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Thanks, Kaito. [She withdraws her hand after a moment.] So, where are you from?

Tokyo, Japan. And may I ask the same question of you?

Oh, that's cool. I'm from a small town in Virginia, in the USA.

[This guy stood in the back for most of the show. He didn't clap, didn't ooh or aah, didn't even crack a smile. When Kaito comes up to him on his way out, he smiles tightly. It's very fake.]

Oh, I think I'll spare them.

[What a creep. Why'd he even come?]

[ Something about this guy is grating on Kaito's nerves. The only time he's ever had this feeling immediately after meeting someone was the night Hakuba Saguru opened his mouth. ]

[ But, Kaito, unlike someone standing feet away from him has exceptional social skills and just smiles like a polite showman. ]

I'm very sorry to hear you weren't impressed, I'll have come up with something infinitely better next time.

Don't bother. You'll find I'm difficult to impress.

[ A smirk overtakes Kaito's features. It's not the normal smirk of an arrogant, trouble making teenage boy but the smirk of the infamous Kaitou Kid- a smirk that could unnerve hundreds-possibly thousands of police officials. It's a smirk that spells trouble and it's gone so quickly that it must have been a trick of the light. ]

I insist. It's the critics, after all, that I'm most interested in impressing.

[ Something... something in this teens voice, though it sounds polite enough, gives off the impression he's fighting hard not to burst into laughter ]

Although, I imagine it's going to take more than just some flashy smoke and mirror magic to please you.

[Oh, but this is interesting. There's a spark of something here, something that's enough to keep his attention.]

Up to the task?

[ Kaito may not know who this guy is but he knows enough that his detective sense is going off worse than ever before. Worse than when Conan was around. Lucky for this guy Kaito just how to keep a detective entertained... or was it annoyed? ]

I can never turn down a challenge.

[ Now that he's shown off enough of his internationally wanted criminal side, he'll let his shoulders seemingly relax and all traces of Kid are gone from his posture, expression and his voice. ]

Well, thank you for coming, all the same.

This could be a fun one.

He inclines his head in a patronizing sort of, "You're welcome. You should feel blessed by my presence," and turns to go.]

With any luck there'll be something worthwhile to see in the future.
