[Log] You Never Had the Head For All That Bigger Picture Stuff
Who: Colette Brunel, Genis Sage, Lloyd Irving, Martel Yggdrasil, Raine Sage, Sheena Fujibayashi, Yuan Ka-Fai, Zelos Wilder AND YOU
What: Joint Nightmare since for some reason they all share the same fear of zombie angels and crazy godmod teenagers
When: This Weekend
Where: Dream Land
Rating: PG-13 to R
[When arriving in this dream, you'll find yourself in various parts of Paradisa whether it be the castle or the grounds. And boy, do things sure look different. The town is nothing more but rubble, with the farmlands surrounding it razed and salted. There is no sign of any towns person still being alive. The castle still stands, but it seems to lack the life it once had.]
[As for the residents? Well, they got a worst fate than the townspeople. If you come across most residents, there's a good amount of changes. First noticeable thing is they now have wings (some like fairies while most have typical white bird angel wings). They all seem to have a red crystal embedded on them. But worst of all? They are completely devoid of any personality or free thought. Their eyes seem dead and they only seem to respond to the wishes of the one who caused this]
[If you're lucky, you might come across someone who hasn't succumb to this fate - they seem to have taken to hiding in the forest or the mountains. If not? Well...good luck.]
[OOC:TLDR TIME YAY! A joint dream where essentially Mithos Yggdrasil showed up in paradisa and took things over! Pretty much meaning he destroyed the town and turned every resident into zombie-angels. The Symphonian cast (including Mithos cough) will be all over this, but anyone is free to participate in this dream too! If you wish to do so, we got a number of options if you want to more!
OPTION A - Returning Resident/ just wandered into this room.
You just wandered into this or have no idea what's going on. Try not to get killed by angels.
OPTION B - Survivor.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. You were among one of the few lucky ones who escaped, who are currently in hiding and either want to find a way to take down Mithos- or find a way out into the Dead Zone where his hand has not reached yet. Maybe you're hiding in the rubble of the city, or the mountains or the forest. Try not to get killed by angels.
OPTION C - Former Angel.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You remember how you were forced to kill all the townspeople, help in turning fellow residents into mindless drones like you. But you got lucky in the way that someone saved you, put a keycrest (fancy piece of metal) on your crystal so you regained your mind. You're still an angel- you still don't eat, sleep and maybe even your sense of touch is diminished or gone- but at least you have a mind and soul again. Plus the enhanced senses, strength and reflexes are really nice too. Try not to get caught again.
OPTION D - Angel
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, when he razed the town, when he claimed himself God of a now lifeless land. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You have enhanced senses, strength, reflexes and wings. On the flipside, you don't eat, sleep, feel and talking is optional too (since many angels have no voices). You feel nothing. All you desire to do is follow Mithos and his great plan. Have fun.

Lloyd | Angel
But Lloyd was no hero. In the absence of Kratos, he had been led by his weak heart into becoming one of Mithos' guardians. The first natural-born Cruxis Crystal made him the most powerful Seraph, but in the end even he couldn't escape the fate of all angels. It was a blissful thing, really, to feel the unconditional love of his mother's sacrifice. Though maybe 'feel' was too strong of a word.
They were one, just as everyone on this darkened planet was one. Discrimination no longer existed. And with Lloyd joining Mithos' side, there would be no crying. Genis wouldn't have to be sad anymore, and more lives were saved than if Lloyd had continued to fight.
Today, Lloyd can be found wandering the outskirts, dressed in red and black. As a Seraph, he still has control over himself to a certain point-- the kind of autonomy that allows him to venture out into the ruins to slaughter people who resist, for example. He doesn't like to stay too close to the throne room. Martel's cries bother him for a reason he can't entirely explain.]
Survivor :3
[But that was not here and now. Right now? He was patrolling the city for any possible survivors, using his eye to keep his distance. But when he sees the soul that he knows belong to Lloyd's crystal and without Mithos? He has to take a chance]
[So he'll take position from one of the rooftops and activate his weapon, throwing several explosives in the guy's direction]

Too bad they belong to someone who doesn't appreciate them.
Without so much as a greeting, he rises to the challenge and launches himself at Allen with unnatural speed.]

His defection hasn't gone without some... necessary upgrades.]

[Since when did Lloyd learn magic? He can't help but wonder that...Lloyd never seemed like the type to have the patience to study those artes. Then again, it could be different from his world.]
[But that didn't matter right now. Instead he tries to throw more explosives at Lloyd's feet, hoping to distract him from his spellcasting]

[But seriously fly straight as him, sure. Once he's sure Lloyd's on a direct course, he uses his cape and ribbons to launch himself away from that spot and over him to avoid that hit. While he's in the air, he throws several ribbons directly at him]
[He may not have wings, but that never stopped the air from being an acrobat's friend]
no subject
With his wings spread wide, it's not exactly hard for Lloyd to keep afloat either.]
no subject
[Allen lands on the ground, pulling and swinging on the ribbons to see if he can use gravity and his own strength to attempt to well...slam you into a wall. ]
survivor ;~;
It was almost ironic, too, how Genis had managed to escape, to hide away from all of these goings-on, while his stronger friend had been caught. Had become one of them.
The half-elf, completely disheveled from hiding for at least days on end in uncivilized conditions, was wandering towards the forest when a certain young man caught his eye.
Lloyd.
The half-elf held in a squeak, immediately darting to hide behind a tree, his heart pounding. Did he see him? It had been so long since he had seen any of his friends that had become like this... ]

Genis.
[The tone is neutral, not inviting, but not condemning either.]
Why are you running?
no subject
I... um... uh...
You're not going to hurt me?
[ he asked weakly, clinging to the trunk of that tree as though it could take him away from here. ]
no subject
You're not a threat to me.
[He holds out his hand.]
Come back to the castle. Colette, your sister, and Mithos are all there. They're waiting for you.
no subject
That kind of stung, in an odd way. Genis definitely knew he was much weaker than Lloyd, but hearing it from his former soft-hearted friend made him feel like a lesser being.
But when he held out his hand... ]
... I... You know I can't, Lloyd.
[ he replied, shakily, but as though to prove a point that he could possibly be a bit more of a threat, he moved, standing in front of the tree that he was hiding behind earlier, now. ]
no subject
[He smiles at his little half-elf friend, but there's something terribly sad behind it. He's definitely Kratos' son.]
There's no room on this world for someone who doesn't want to live in peace.
no subject
Genis bites at his lip. ]
I... I do want to live in peace, but... this can't be the way to do it. [ he shakily protested. He just wanted things to go back, to before Mithos came here and ruined everything. And yet, he also wants to be Mithos' friend...
Everything is so difficult. ]
no subject
[His arm falls back down to his side. He doesn't want to kill Genis-- he'd be severely reprimanded by Mithos, no doubt-- but he can't let him escape.]
Just give up.
no subject
Lloyd... I'm not going to fight you. I can't. But I can't go there either.
[ He tries to look brave, and he's succeeding quite well in the facial department- pity his legs keep shaking, his knees knocking against each other. ]
no subject
Then where will you go?
