[Log] You Never Had the Head For All That Bigger Picture Stuff
Who: Colette Brunel, Genis Sage, Lloyd Irving, Martel Yggdrasil, Raine Sage, Sheena Fujibayashi, Yuan Ka-Fai, Zelos Wilder AND YOU
What: Joint Nightmare since for some reason they all share the same fear of zombie angels and crazy godmod teenagers
When: This Weekend
Where: Dream Land
Rating: PG-13 to R
[When arriving in this dream, you'll find yourself in various parts of Paradisa whether it be the castle or the grounds. And boy, do things sure look different. The town is nothing more but rubble, with the farmlands surrounding it razed and salted. There is no sign of any towns person still being alive. The castle still stands, but it seems to lack the life it once had.]
[As for the residents? Well, they got a worst fate than the townspeople. If you come across most residents, there's a good amount of changes. First noticeable thing is they now have wings (some like fairies while most have typical white bird angel wings). They all seem to have a red crystal embedded on them. But worst of all? They are completely devoid of any personality or free thought. Their eyes seem dead and they only seem to respond to the wishes of the one who caused this]
[If you're lucky, you might come across someone who hasn't succumb to this fate - they seem to have taken to hiding in the forest or the mountains. If not? Well...good luck.]
[OOC:TLDR TIME YAY! A joint dream where essentially Mithos Yggdrasil showed up in paradisa and took things over! Pretty much meaning he destroyed the town and turned every resident into zombie-angels. The Symphonian cast (including Mithos cough) will be all over this, but anyone is free to participate in this dream too! If you wish to do so, we got a number of options if you want to more!
OPTION A - Returning Resident/ just wandered into this room.
You just wandered into this or have no idea what's going on. Try not to get killed by angels.
OPTION B - Survivor.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. You were among one of the few lucky ones who escaped, who are currently in hiding and either want to find a way to take down Mithos- or find a way out into the Dead Zone where his hand has not reached yet. Maybe you're hiding in the rubble of the city, or the mountains or the forest. Try not to get killed by angels.
OPTION C - Former Angel.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You remember how you were forced to kill all the townspeople, help in turning fellow residents into mindless drones like you. But you got lucky in the way that someone saved you, put a keycrest (fancy piece of metal) on your crystal so you regained your mind. You're still an angel- you still don't eat, sleep and maybe even your sense of touch is diminished or gone- but at least you have a mind and soul again. Plus the enhanced senses, strength and reflexes are really nice too. Try not to get caught again.
OPTION D - Angel
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, when he razed the town, when he claimed himself God of a now lifeless land. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You have enhanced senses, strength, reflexes and wings. On the flipside, you don't eat, sleep, feel and talking is optional too (since many angels have no voices). You feel nothing. All you desire to do is follow Mithos and his great plan. Have fun.

If she still had her emotions, she'd be screaming, raging, and otherwise attempting to detonate the building in his general direction, but alas.]
;-; survivor here, hello
Raine.
His sister.
He peeked out over the large piece of rubble he had been hiding behind, simply watching. She was an angel...
Somehow, he had figured as much- but it still made it difficult to swallow, difficult to hide again. ]

Martel | Survivor (Ish?)
She’s not paying attention to you, though. Not yet. Right now she is slumped on the throne, but not from despair. She’s trying to reach a tiny length of wire on the floor, and she’s literally slid down as far as she can, reaching with her foot. Her brother left her there to go kill some revolutionaries, because she’d be in danger is she went with him. She didn’t even care. If he thinks she’s just going to wait around for him to come back and terrorize this entire world, he is sorely mistaken. She is going to escape, and she is going to killhim when she gets out. Not if. When. She will never stop. Meanwhile, she’ll play nice with him, pretending to be his beloved sister who may have a few memory problems.
If you're an angel or a servant of Mithos, she'll stop what she's doing and try to play dumb. If you're an insurgent, don't stand there like an idiot, help her!]
Doesn't know what's going on

[The angel murmurs a 'yes, Lord Yggdrassil' before teleporting away. Mithos sheds his taller, more authoritative form as he enters his throne room. He looks like he hasn't aged a day since Martel died on Aselia, and that's true in both body and mind. The cool veneer he usually wears actually brightens when he sees Martel.]

He couldn't care less about stopping this nutjob, he's past the point of caring. If there's one thing he knows about hostile takeovers, there's not a lot you can do about them until the would-be-ruler shows some weakness. Which Mithos hasn't yet. No. He's not here to take down Mithos. When he sneaks quietly into the throne room from a side room he managed to clamber though a window to get into, he's not come for Mithos at all.
He's come for her. She said she wouldn't abandon him, and she never did. It's about time he repaid the favour. He moves quickly and quietly, an old axe strapped to his back. Funny how something he'd grown to hate so much proved to be a weapon he was actually good at wielding. He drops quietly to her side, glancing around for guards, speaking in hushed tones]
All aboard for the next train to the heck out of this place.

Zelos | Former
[Maybe that would've been alright, it's kinda easy when you don't have emotions or free will. But then some well meaning intentioned douchebag just had to give him his keycrest back. Made him in control of his own full emotions, made him fully remember that he helped capture his friends and bring them to ruin. That he helped killed all those villagers. That he pretty much did everything opposite of what he wanted to do thanks to Mithos.]
[These days, you can find him out deep in the forest. He keeps to himself mostly- not too many people want to be associated with the guy that helped bring Paradisa down. He can't blame them, he doesn't want to associate with himself either. Part of him wonders why he hasn't fled to the Dead Zone, but in truth it's because of that small stupid spark of hope that maybe, maybe- he'd find some way to save his friends and make up for what he did even if the rest of him has completely given up hope. ]
[Oh and his beautiful long hair he was so proud of? Totally cut short and unevenly. This is a nightmare after all ]

And he sees Zelos, sitting, maybe thirteen, fourteen feet away from Tsuna. He completely forgets himself and intakes a sharp breath with a small, horrified noise, and his face goes pale as he lets go of the shrubbery, plastering himself to a tree trunk. He clutches the fabric where his heart is and shakes, trying desperately to calm himself. He's praying, somehow, that the supposed angel did not hear him, and that his heart, beating quicker now, did not give him away.
He didn't dare move an inch, and listened for the other's movements.]

[ A day after returning to herself finds Arya searching the woods. Her annoyance has been steadily increasing with every step and she actively feeds it. In her head, she has had a thousand and one arguments, each more satisfying (read: louder) than the last. She has won every one.
By the time she finds her target (courtesy of a raven she had quickly let free), she is geared up for a fight. When she can finally see him with her own eyes, she freezes.
Like last time, her wings are out, glimmering a soft silver behind her. Unlike last time, her hair is cropped short and uneven. The dress that had made her look so like a porcelain doll is gone. In its place, she wears a boy's grey shirt; a white scarf winds around her neck, the ends tucked into the shirt in front. The pant legs had been rolled up to avoid tripping. She goes barefoot.
Although expressionless, she holds his gaze this time. Around her left wrist is a bracelet with a keycrest. ]

Of course, he didn't particularly hate Zelos for what he did. That would have been horrifically hypocritical of him, after all. But the despondency the other man carried around with him was worrying, and so every time he returned to the forest, the Once-ler made it a point to seek out Zelos. Just to speak to him, let him know he wasn't completely forgotten and hated.
When he eventually finds him, the Once-ler moves to lean on a tree, lighting up a cigar]

Unfortunately, he'd also lost his chance to get close to Yggdrasil and take him out when he could. John's not about to leave Paradisa and leave his friends like this, but it's hard trying to live in hiding while most of the residents are flying around like soulless killing machines.
Right now John's drifting through the forest, usually finding it better to fly around than to walk and give away his position with footsteps. Though unfortunately his wind probably kicks up some mess too. He's always on the look out, hoping that if Paradisa sends in any newcomers he can grab them and whisk them off to safety before the "angels" get to them. ]

Lloyd | Angel
But Lloyd was no hero. In the absence of Kratos, he had been led by his weak heart into becoming one of Mithos' guardians. The first natural-born Cruxis Crystal made him the most powerful Seraph, but in the end even he couldn't escape the fate of all angels. It was a blissful thing, really, to feel the unconditional love of his mother's sacrifice. Though maybe 'feel' was too strong of a word.
They were one, just as everyone on this darkened planet was one. Discrimination no longer existed. And with Lloyd joining Mithos' side, there would be no crying. Genis wouldn't have to be sad anymore, and more lives were saved than if Lloyd had continued to fight.
Today, Lloyd can be found wandering the outskirts, dressed in red and black. As a Seraph, he still has control over himself to a certain point-- the kind of autonomy that allows him to venture out into the ruins to slaughter people who resist, for example. He doesn't like to stay too close to the throne room. Martel's cries bother him for a reason he can't entirely explain.]
Survivor :3
[But that was not here and now. Right now? He was patrolling the city for any possible survivors, using his eye to keep his distance. But when he sees the soul that he knows belong to Lloyd's crystal and without Mithos? He has to take a chance]
[So he'll take position from one of the rooftops and activate his weapon, throwing several explosives in the guy's direction]

It was almost ironic, too, how Genis had managed to escape, to hide away from all of these goings-on, while his stronger friend had been caught. Had become one of them.
The half-elf, completely disheveled from hiding for at least days on end in uncivilized conditions, was wandering towards the forest when a certain young man caught his eye.
Lloyd.
The half-elf held in a squeak, immediately darting to hide behind a tree, his heart pounding. Did he see him? It had been so long since he had seen any of his friends that had become like this... ]

Yuan | Survivor
It was one more mistake he'd never be able to repair.
He's in town, now, lurking behind bits of rubble, ragged and grim as he hides from the soulless angels. He's out here trying to catch a glimpse of any survivors that remain, or any angels that he thinks he could overpower long enough to get a Key Crest on them. He has, of course, been trying to muster up some kind of cohesive rebellion, but it's very difficult when Mithos no longer trusts him in the least, and is actively hunting him...]
no subject
And when he sees Yuan's mana signature in the distance, he knows it is.
Lloyd is off scoping the other side of the ruins. Satisfied that he won't be interrupted, Mithos sends a ball of light flying at Yuan's back. Because this is a nightmare, it means Mithos is here to make Yuan's life hell.]

Colette | Angel
And so Colette's fear was realized. Without her key crest she was trapped again... trapped somewhere deep within that crystal. Only this time she knew no one was coming to save her. This time there was no going back.
So as you pass through the halls of ruined Paradisa, you might see a soft pink glow of wings from around the corner. Then, you'll see a quiet and emotionless girl. She's doesn't seem to be as hostile like some other angels. Instead it looks like she's just..... staring at you from the end of the hallway. Approach?]

Genis doesn't know how, but he had escaped, wormed out- was it because he was a coward? He certainly thought so, now. He had lost contact with everyone in the fray, but circumstances had caused him to expect the worst.
He can't help but find a cynical amusement in the fact that he was the one so determined to understand Mithos, and here he was, in the forest. Hiding constantly, making sure not a soul saw him.
The half-elf was weary, his silver locks even longer and messier, long enough to tie in a ponytail. His pale blue eyes were dull, in the way an adult looked when they had seen enough terrible things happen before them. All in all, he was a mess.
His back against a tree, he was sitting up, face buried in his knobby knees, trying to catch a wink of sleep, but the ever-present fear of being alone made it difficult... ]

Sheena | Angel
Anyone who knew her in another time, on another world, would wonder at the change in her. Gone was the friendly klutz who had a weakness for children; in its place was what Sheena was always meant to be:
A cold-blooded assassin, confident in the skills taught to her by her father--the man she once affectionately called "Grandpa".
None of that affection existed anymore, either, having disappeared the moment Mithos recruited her as one of his Beings, free from discrimination and guilt as she mindlessly followed his orders and used those skills against whoever he wished--friend and foe alike--without any semblance of guilt on her features.
And now, she continued the hunt, carrying out her Lord's orders with an impassive and cold expression and without question--so unlike the emotional, vibrant person she once was who would have turned the tables without hesitation at the merest thought that what he was doing was wrong.]
survivor!
So she'll be moving through the town in a disguise -- she's had enough information to figure out some of Mithos' recruits, anyways. It takes the least amount of effort and energy for her to change into a form that exactly resembles Colette, so that's what she's done. Now the question is whether or not she can pass for a comrade of the Angels ...]
