[When arriving in this dream, you'll find yourself in various parts of Paradisa whether it be the castle or the grounds. And boy, do things sure look different. The town is nothing more but rubble, with the farmlands surrounding it razed and salted. There is no sign of any towns person still being alive. The castle still stands, but it seems to lack the life it once had.]

[As for the residents? Well, they got a worst fate than the townspeople. If you come across most residents, there's a good amount of changes. First noticeable thing is they now have wings (some like fairies while most have typical white bird angel wings). They all seem to have a red crystal embedded on them. But worst of all? They are completely devoid of any personality or free thought. Their eyes seem dead and they only seem to respond to the wishes of the one who caused this]

[If you're lucky, you might come across someone who hasn't succumb to this fate - they seem to have taken to hiding in the forest or the mountains. If not? Well...good luck.]

[OOC: TLDR TIME YAY! A joint dream where essentially Mithos Yggdrasil showed up in paradisa and took things over! Pretty much meaning he destroyed the town and turned every resident into zombie-angels. The Symphonian cast (including Mithos cough) will be all over this, but anyone is free to participate in this dream too! If you wish to do so, we got a number of options if you want to more!

OPTION A - Returning Resident/ just wandered into this room.
You just wandered into this or have no idea what's going on. Try not to get killed by angels.

OPTION B - Survivor.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. You were among one of the few lucky ones who escaped, who are currently in hiding and either want to find a way to take down Mithos- or find a way out into the Dead Zone where his hand has not reached yet. Maybe you're hiding in the rubble of the city, or the mountains or the forest. Try not to get killed by angels.

OPTION C - Former Angel.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You remember how you were forced to kill all the townspeople, help in turning fellow residents into mindless drones like you. But you got lucky in the way that someone saved you, put a keycrest (fancy piece of metal) on your crystal so you regained your mind. You're still an angel- you still don't eat, sleep and maybe even your sense of touch is diminished or gone- but at least you have a mind and soul again. Plus the enhanced senses, strength and reflexes are really nice too. Try not to get caught again.

OPTION D - Angel
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, when he razed the town, when he claimed himself God of a now lifeless land. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You have enhanced senses, strength, reflexes and wings. On the flipside, you don't eat, sleep, feel and talking is optional too (since many angels have no voices). You feel nothing. All you desire to do is follow Mithos and his great plan. Have fun.

[Aradia stares at him, expressionless. Well, she could kill him. But Lord Yggdrasil wanted him alive if possible.

The real Aradia would have fought. Given him a dignified death. Maybe even tossed him into the Dead Zone so he wouldn't just revive in a couple of weeks, so his spirit would be free to go wherever they went around here. But the castle had stripped her of that possibility the moment it got her in its claws. Between her loss and the whole angel thing... there isn't a drop of independent thought left in her.

She raises both her palms to him, the shining image of a red clock forming around her body. She'll just freeze him in time and carry him back. No big deal.]

If possible, I am to retrieve the target alive.

[If you decide to do something, Zelos, you've got about two seconds.]

[He knows exactly what that means. Dammit...why does everyone insist that he keep on living against his will? ]

[A surge of panic goes up through him at the thought of returning back there. Returning to that hell. Not that he considered being out here much better, but at least he had autonomy if nothing else. It was a hell of his own making instead of a hell of Miithos's.]

[As she speaks, his leg brushes up against his pocket that held the keycrest Yuan had given him to free Lloyd. He didn't want to use it, it was for Lloyd. But...]

[Well, guess he'll have to ask Yuan for another one. ]

[He moves as fast as he can, angel reflexes and speed fueling him on as he yanks the bracelet out of his pocket and attempts to slap it onto her wrist that's near him - he'd pray for it to work, for it to hit her wrist, for it to kick in quickly instead of taking forever, if he had any belief in a deity anymore]

[He's very, very lucky today. Although Aradia has that whole angel reflexes thing going on, too, she had concluded that Zelos wasn't resisting, and now that she was concentrating on doing her timey thing, she's caught off guard for just long enough. The bracelet hits its target.

For a long second, she just seems mildly confused. Then the clock flickers and disappears. Her body twitches once, her wings stop flapping, and she falls the remaining three feet onto the grass, crumpling onto her side as she lands.]

[--- Oh he hopes that was a keycrest and not a poisoned bracelet. He'll move very cautiously towards her]

Aradia...?

[It's cool bro, it was just a shock to her system is all. She's already pushing herself up, albeit looking very dazed.]

... Zelos? What ... what's going on?

[Holy crap it worked. It worked it worked it worked-]

[-- Crap it worked. This might not be pleasant]

You'll...remember in a second.

Are you feeling alright?

Yeah, I ... [But the memories are coming back now. Of the failed evacuation. Risking her life - and instead losing her freedom. Her thoughts. Helping to capture and subjugate her friends, just like she'd been. Fingers in her mind.]

... No. No, not all right. This isn't all right.

[She'd been ordered to capture him. To subject him to a fate worse than death. She would have gone through with it without a second thought.

She stays seated, covering her mouth.]

Oh my god. Zelos, I - I'm sorry.

[The words come out as lamely as they feel. As if something like an apology could make the remotest difference.]

[He shakes his head, kneeling down next to her and putting a hand on her shoulder. More than anything, he gets it. All the things he was forced to do, all the friends he hurt...was Aradia one of them too? He's not even sure anymore]

I don't need an apology.

[Zelos doubts he even deserves one, all things considering]

[Of course he does, he is her friend. He is her friend and she was forced to betray him and hurt him and she didn't even care. She rests one of her hands on his, a mixture of regret and rage playing across her face. That gives her a better look at the bracelet, though.]

So I'm guessing I better not take this off ever.

Not unless you wanna go back to being like that.

[a sigh]

Eventually maybe we can get you fitted with a better crest, something harder to remove or in the way. But for now, guard it with your life.

[Aradia nods grimly, drawing the crest in toward her body. It's beginning to sink in with her that this could be permanent. She'll spend the rest of her life one lost piece of jewelry away from total robotic obedience. And the rest of her life is a very long time indeed.

She clutches the bracelet tightly, her eyes gone fiery and dangerous, and murmurs darkly.]

... kill him. I'm gonna kill him. Everyone who had a hand in this.

[wilder]

[Yeah...especially when that thing causes immortality too. But you know, he'll break that to you later]

[And he can empathize 100% with her. He wants Mithos dead more than anything. But also he feels guilty. Guilty he didn't manage to stop Mithos before he ever tried anything, guilty he was forced to have a hand in...all this.]

...Sorry, Aradia.

[She was already functionally immortal! But yeah :x

Aradia doesn't look up, still kind of fixated on thoughts of murder. But after a moment she speaks up.]

... You saved me, don't apologize.

[Eventually she pulls herself to her feet and looks up at the sky, still fingering the bracelet uncomfortably.]

[She lets out a halfhearted chuckle.] Assuming they'll put up with me. [She's mostly joking about that though. Mostly.] Is it far?

Hmm..I'd say about half a day's walk from here.
