[Log] You Never Had the Head For All That Bigger Picture Stuff
Who: Colette Brunel, Genis Sage, Lloyd Irving, Martel Yggdrasil, Raine Sage, Sheena Fujibayashi, Yuan Ka-Fai, Zelos Wilder AND YOU
What: Joint Nightmare since for some reason they all share the same fear of zombie angels and crazy godmod teenagers
When: This Weekend
Where: Dream Land
Rating: PG-13 to R
[When arriving in this dream, you'll find yourself in various parts of Paradisa whether it be the castle or the grounds. And boy, do things sure look different. The town is nothing more but rubble, with the farmlands surrounding it razed and salted. There is no sign of any towns person still being alive. The castle still stands, but it seems to lack the life it once had.]
[As for the residents? Well, they got a worst fate than the townspeople. If you come across most residents, there's a good amount of changes. First noticeable thing is they now have wings (some like fairies while most have typical white bird angel wings). They all seem to have a red crystal embedded on them. But worst of all? They are completely devoid of any personality or free thought. Their eyes seem dead and they only seem to respond to the wishes of the one who caused this]
[If you're lucky, you might come across someone who hasn't succumb to this fate - they seem to have taken to hiding in the forest or the mountains. If not? Well...good luck.]
[OOC:TLDR TIME YAY! A joint dream where essentially Mithos Yggdrasil showed up in paradisa and took things over! Pretty much meaning he destroyed the town and turned every resident into zombie-angels. The Symphonian cast (including Mithos cough) will be all over this, but anyone is free to participate in this dream too! If you wish to do so, we got a number of options if you want to more!
OPTION A - Returning Resident/ just wandered into this room.
You just wandered into this or have no idea what's going on. Try not to get killed by angels.
OPTION B - Survivor.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. You were among one of the few lucky ones who escaped, who are currently in hiding and either want to find a way to take down Mithos- or find a way out into the Dead Zone where his hand has not reached yet. Maybe you're hiding in the rubble of the city, or the mountains or the forest. Try not to get killed by angels.
OPTION C - Former Angel.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You remember how you were forced to kill all the townspeople, help in turning fellow residents into mindless drones like you. But you got lucky in the way that someone saved you, put a keycrest (fancy piece of metal) on your crystal so you regained your mind. You're still an angel- you still don't eat, sleep and maybe even your sense of touch is diminished or gone- but at least you have a mind and soul again. Plus the enhanced senses, strength and reflexes are really nice too. Try not to get caught again.
OPTION D - Angel
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, when he razed the town, when he claimed himself God of a now lifeless land. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You have enhanced senses, strength, reflexes and wings. On the flipside, you don't eat, sleep, feel and talking is optional too (since many angels have no voices). You feel nothing. All you desire to do is follow Mithos and his great plan. Have fun.

And he sees Zelos, sitting, maybe thirteen, fourteen feet away from Tsuna. He completely forgets himself and intakes a sharp breath with a small, horrified noise, and his face goes pale as he lets go of the shrubbery, plastering himself to a tree trunk. He clutches the fabric where his heart is and shakes, trying desperately to calm himself. He's praying, somehow, that the supposed angel did not hear him, and that his heart, beating quicker now, did not give him away.
He didn't dare move an inch, and listened for the other's movements.]
no subject
[But the heartbeat...it was too uneven. The breathing too. It was no angel]
I can hear you, you know.
no subject
He can hear him.
Zelos-- no, the angel-- can hear him.
He wants to run, but his legs won't let him. His throat feels thick, constricted, and his eyes are warming. He wants to run and hide so badly, but he knows he's dead either way; he couldn't hope to outrun an angel.
Should he stay where he was? Go into the open and get it over with?
He'd met a former angel before. One given a crest. They said even though they couldn't control their bodies at all, they had been fully aware of what was going on.
At the very least, before he died, maybe he could offer Zelos an apology. That he wasn't able to save him-- to keep Mithos from turnign him into an angel.
A hot tear spills from his eye, sinks into a cut on his cheek that Zelos had given him before, which he recently turned into an angel. He'd nearly died, that time, but it seemed it only prolonged his life for so long.
He reaches up with an arm, brushing it roughly across his eyes, and takes a deep breath, parting the bushes. It's hard, but he forces his head up, to look Zelos in the eyes, even if his own are rife with fear.]
Zelos...

[...As well as the boy he had attacked under Mithos's orders. How he didn't hesitate at all to bring the blade down on him. He had always been unsure about this kid out of all of his students, yet it turned out he learned his lessons well enough to escape with his life and soul]
[And to think he's still alive even now.]
Tsuna...you're still alive?
1/2
The look on his face isn't one that an angel would make. It looks genuinely shocked.
His eyes trail down to his crystal.
He has a crest.
He has a crest.]
2/2
His voice comes out brokenly.]
Zelos... You're..
[The tears comes in full force now, and his whole body is trembling. In between shuddering breaths, he manages out:]
I'm so... so glad...
no subject
What are you-
[Did the kid not get the memo how everyone hates him now? How half of the revolutionaries wanted nowhere near him? ....Tsuna was always a bit of the slow one, he concludes, trying not to think about how he returns the embrace with one arm]
no subject
After some several moments, he calms down. His whole body had been as tense as rock, earlier, but now he was completely relaxed. And so ridiculously relieved.
His forehead is pressed against Zelos' chest as he stares at the ground.]
I'm... sorry I couldn't stop them, Zelos. From changing you.
no subject
[My goddess this kid really never changes. ]
no subject
Yeah. I am.
no subject
It wasn't your fault, Tsuna. Not like you knew what was going on.
no subject
For the moment, he doesn't argue. Even if he does feel a bit guilty, honestly? He's just so happy to have one of his friends back to normal.
Who would've thought a chance encounter with Zelos would mean a reunion with his friend, rather than a meeting with death? Bless you, fate.
He backs off a bit, although he doesn't let go of Zelos completely, and smiles up at him.]
Now that you're back to normal, you can help the resistance.
no subject
The resistance doesn't want anything to do with me.
no subject
There were people who didn't understand. People who'd watched their friends fall beneath Zelos' blade. People who couldn't forgive, even if he was back to normal, even if he was only a tool, and not a willing participant, in his murder spree.
Tsuna hadn't gotten off scot-free, either. Besides nearly dying himself, he'd also lost a couple people he knew specifically to Zelos. Even watching Zelos attack him remorselessly hadn't been as painful as watching him strike down his friends.
But he refused to leave Zelos now. Not just because he was an invaluable warrior, but because he was Tsuna's friend. Maybe it was the fact that he'd always known Zelos really was a good guy at heart, and the fact that he could see the guilt reflected in those eyes even now, that made it easy for Tsuna to forgive him right away, without ever having blamed him in the first place.
He looks up again.]
What do you want to do?
no subject
You mean besides rip off Mithos's head?
[...Probably kill himself, but he knew Tsuna wouldn't appreciate hearing that]
no subject
So you still want to fight, then.
[He wouldn't blame Zelos for a second if he'd wanted to run away. To get away from all of this.
But the truth remained. Even if the resistance didn't want his help? They needed every little bit of it they could get. He nods.]
I'll fight with you.
no subject
Go back to the Resistance, Tsunie. You'll have more luck finding people to fight with you there.
no subject
Zelos... We need you. We need every fighter we can get, and you're the strongest I know.
no subject
And you know? I reaaaally don't blame them.
no subject
But this is different. They're in a dire situation.
He narrows his eyes.]
And what are they going to do? Say that you can't fight?
You don't have to fight alongside them. You don't even need to associate yourself with them. You can still help while doing that.
no subject
Considering I'm the one who pretty much handed over the one group of people who stopped Mithos before? I think I've helped enough.
no subject
Zelos? What are you talking about?
no subject
Back home, Mithos was stopped. Most of the group that stopped him are even here.
But I turned them in. Thanks to me, they're all angels now.
[He's leaving out parts of the story. How he did it against his own free will. How he spent every second trying to fight off Mithos once the boy had finally found him. But it doesn't matter to him. In the end? All his friends were worse than dead, and he was the one to blame.]
no subject
But it's not because he thinks he betrayed his friends. It's because of the way he explained the situation-- he's deliberately incriminating himself, putting all the blame on him.
If it wasn't a stupid thing to do, where an angel might overhear them, Tsuna might have raised his voice. For now, he keeps it even, but there's a definite undertone of aggravation.]
Tell me the entire story, Zelos.
no subject
[No, he always knew there was a bit of stubbornness to him]
Rather not, Tsunie. That's the story I'm sticking with.
