[When arriving in this dream, you'll find yourself in various parts of Paradisa whether it be the castle or the grounds. And boy, do things sure look different. The town is nothing more but rubble, with the farmlands surrounding it razed and salted. There is no sign of any towns person still being alive. The castle still stands, but it seems to lack the life it once had.]

[As for the residents? Well, they got a worst fate than the townspeople. If you come across most residents, there's a good amount of changes. First noticeable thing is they now have wings (some like fairies while most have typical white bird angel wings). They all seem to have a red crystal embedded on them. But worst of all? They are completely devoid of any personality or free thought. Their eyes seem dead and they only seem to respond to the wishes of the one who caused this]

[If you're lucky, you might come across someone who hasn't succumb to this fate - they seem to have taken to hiding in the forest or the mountains. If not? Well...good luck.]

[OOC: TLDR TIME YAY! A joint dream where essentially Mithos Yggdrasil showed up in paradisa and took things over! Pretty much meaning he destroyed the town and turned every resident into zombie-angels. The Symphonian cast (including Mithos cough) will be all over this, but anyone is free to participate in this dream too! If you wish to do so, we got a number of options if you want to more!

OPTION A - Returning Resident/ just wandered into this room.
You just wandered into this or have no idea what's going on. Try not to get killed by angels.

OPTION B - Survivor.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. You were among one of the few lucky ones who escaped, who are currently in hiding and either want to find a way to take down Mithos- or find a way out into the Dead Zone where his hand has not reached yet. Maybe you're hiding in the rubble of the city, or the mountains or the forest. Try not to get killed by angels.

OPTION C - Former Angel.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You remember how you were forced to kill all the townspeople, help in turning fellow residents into mindless drones like you. But you got lucky in the way that someone saved you, put a keycrest (fancy piece of metal) on your crystal so you regained your mind. You're still an angel- you still don't eat, sleep and maybe even your sense of touch is diminished or gone- but at least you have a mind and soul again. Plus the enhanced senses, strength and reflexes are really nice too. Try not to get caught again.

OPTION D - Angel
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, when he razed the town, when he claimed himself God of a now lifeless land. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You have enhanced senses, strength, reflexes and wings. On the flipside, you don't eat, sleep, feel and talking is optional too (since many angels have no voices). You feel nothing. All you desire to do is follow Mithos and his great plan. Have fun.

[A pause; he looks conflicted. Almost pained. But he can't...he can't betray Lloyd's memory. ]

[SO PULLING IT. THIS IS FOR LLOYD DAMMIT.]

You know this isn't about whether or not I trust you!

If you trust me, then you should know I'm not a very reckless person. I wouldn't do this if I didn't think it through.

It doesn't matter if you've thought it through! If something were to happen, I ... [she'd never forgive herself, if she wasn't there to at least try and stop it :(]

You don't go alone unless you have no other choice! And you do have a choice! Do you think so little of your friends that you're willing to risk getting killed?

That's not what it is at all. You got it all wrong.

Really? Then what is it? Because there's no good reason for you not to let me back you up!

[He's quiet for a long moment, trying to think of how to put it because man it's hard to explain himself]

You know, back home? I was a triple agent.

There was a conflict with three different sides. Close to how it is here...Mithos with Cruxis, Yuan and the Renegades and Lloyd and his ragtag little group of weirdos.

And for a long time? I played all three sides. Working with each one without fully siding myself to them...biding my time to see which one would come out strongest so I could side with them.

That was the plan, anyway.

[ ... she just kind of stares, listening. she doesn't like that he isn't just giving up and agreeing with her, but she'll at least her him out]

[Nope sorry never gonna happen girl. Lloyd trumps EVERYTHING. He continues, turning away from her to look at the scenery]

It was mostly to survive, to get what I wanted. No one ever cared about me, they didn't even see me as a person. Mithos only saw me a tool, either to be used or sacrificed. Yuan, he's changed a lot since then, but...he was the same way. And they certainly didn't trust me. So I didn't get attached. It was the same thing in my homeland, with the King, the Pope, the nobles...everyone.

But Lloyd... that stubborn hotheaded idiot. He saw me as a person, for whatever reason he cared no matter how hard I tried to push him away.

And he trusted me. Even when no one else ever had....even when I had made it seem like I had betrayed them all and handed the girl he'd traveled two worlds to save right over to Mithos...he still trusted me. He still called me his friend and welcomed me back.

Lloyd, it's not much, but he's got a bit more control than the other angels. I can't explain why, not yet. But...even if it's a little, it's still Lloyd. He's still my friend that I can try to reach. Try to make him see who he is again.

But to do that? I gotta trust him like he did me. To go in there with back-up? Would mean that I don't...that I can't return the trust he gave me.

[wilder]

[He turns back around, speaking with determination and fire that's been lacking for a long long time]

And I will never betray his trust like that, Ino! I don't care if you put Hell itself between me and Lloyd to make me to agree with you, it's not gonna happen!

[That's a nice story, and she's glad that he has someone that he can consider such a close friend. But it doesn't change the fact that she's pretty sure he's nuts when he says Lloyd has any control. She's seen what those crystals can do to a person, and she's seen friends and loved ones completely lose their minds because of it. Zelos of all people should know, she thinks, that there's no hope for him until he's got a keycrest on. That he could care less who he hurts as long as it goes along with Mithos' plans.

And maybe even more than that, it hurts that it's turned into her becoming the bad guy, keeping him apart from his friend. His friend who she's quite certain could care less about him now -- and yet, it still (selfishly, perhaps) stings to hear he still gets priority over the people who still care about him. People like her.

It hurts, when all she really wants is to save him. To keep anything like Asuma from happening ever again. She can't stand the thought of someone she considers a brother throwing his life away so easily when she knows about it, when she could prevent it, when she could protect him.

She really wants to scream and yell, and call him stupid, and punch him in the face. But instead, she just looks away, voice wavering]

[Hey sorry it's what you get when you try to get in the way of the morally ambiguous "best friend" dude and his shonen. ]

[And honestly, even though he neglected to mention it to Ino because he knew she wouldn't understand...'saving' Zelos meant more than just keeping him alive. If Lloyd truly was gone, if he really couldn't bring him back to being his old bud...well, him wearing a keycrest won't make a real amount of difference about how dead he'd be inside. ]

[He doubted he could save him in one swoop. But even if he made a little leeway, just a little...]

[His shoulders will drop and he'll actually smile. Even if it's just a tiny one]
