[When arriving in this dream, you'll find yourself in various parts of Paradisa whether it be the castle or the grounds. And boy, do things sure look different. The town is nothing more but rubble, with the farmlands surrounding it razed and salted. There is no sign of any towns person still being alive. The castle still stands, but it seems to lack the life it once had.]

[As for the residents? Well, they got a worst fate than the townspeople. If you come across most residents, there's a good amount of changes. First noticeable thing is they now have wings (some like fairies while most have typical white bird angel wings). They all seem to have a red crystal embedded on them. But worst of all? They are completely devoid of any personality or free thought. Their eyes seem dead and they only seem to respond to the wishes of the one who caused this]

[If you're lucky, you might come across someone who hasn't succumb to this fate - they seem to have taken to hiding in the forest or the mountains. If not? Well...good luck.]

[OOC: TLDR TIME YAY! A joint dream where essentially Mithos Yggdrasil showed up in paradisa and took things over! Pretty much meaning he destroyed the town and turned every resident into zombie-angels. The Symphonian cast (including Mithos cough) will be all over this, but anyone is free to participate in this dream too! If you wish to do so, we got a number of options if you want to more!

OPTION A - Returning Resident/ just wandered into this room.
You just wandered into this or have no idea what's going on. Try not to get killed by angels.

OPTION B - Survivor.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. You were among one of the few lucky ones who escaped, who are currently in hiding and either want to find a way to take down Mithos- or find a way out into the Dead Zone where his hand has not reached yet. Maybe you're hiding in the rubble of the city, or the mountains or the forest. Try not to get killed by angels.

OPTION C - Former Angel.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You remember how you were forced to kill all the townspeople, help in turning fellow residents into mindless drones like you. But you got lucky in the way that someone saved you, put a keycrest (fancy piece of metal) on your crystal so you regained your mind. You're still an angel- you still don't eat, sleep and maybe even your sense of touch is diminished or gone- but at least you have a mind and soul again. Plus the enhanced senses, strength and reflexes are really nice too. Try not to get caught again.

OPTION D - Angel
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, when he razed the town, when he claimed himself God of a now lifeless land. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You have enhanced senses, strength, reflexes and wings. On the flipside, you don't eat, sleep, feel and talking is optional too (since many angels have no voices). You feel nothing. All you desire to do is follow Mithos and his great plan. Have fun.

[But the smile goes away when he listens about the condition of the other angels. ]

Well...I doubt the library has much reading material on what to do in these situations anyway. [a shrug; though it scares him to think what some of the others are going through. Especially ones who were innocent before- like Uru or Lucrezia, if they were taken] Sure you're doing what you can.

...But I take it none of them are from our world, huh?

[cloakand_danger]

...No. [He looks away again.] I haven't...been able to get close enough.

[There's anger in his tone, simmering low and vicious, as he asks his next question.] Have you seen what he did to Lloyd?

[Lloyd...]

[If Yuan was hoping to have a chance to see past the mask that Zelos had been trying so hard to stitch together for himself over the past few weeks of freedom and solitude, this did the trick. His jaw locks, his entire body seems to tense and his arms cross immediately tightly across his chest. Pain, rage, grief, despair - they all cross through his face and eyes as they battle which has dominance in emotions. Had he still had the ability, he'd worry of showing tears in front of Yuan just from the sheer memories of it all.]

[Oh. He saw. He saw exactly what he did to the one that he had put faith and loyalty in over Mithos.]

[But Zelos isn't one to show his emotions for long term. Oh no. Even if it's about Lloyd, he works quickly to put it all behind a mask. When he finally looks at Yuan, he's much more composed than he was before. Have to keep calm, can't lose it can't lose it.]

Yeah. I saw.

[cloakand_danger]

[He actually...wasn't trying for that at all. And he wasn't expecting that much reaction. He watches silently, impassive, mentally updating his image of who Zelos is, and giving no indication that he saw that burst of emotion.

He will, however, change the subject, if it's going to be that painful.]

...I've seen Raine in passing as well, but never alone, so I couldn't get close enough to put a Key Crest on her. The others I'm not sure of.

Martel's locked up in there somewhere, at his mercy. At least, that's what I hope. [His expression goes taught with longing and anxiety for just a moment.] ...That is...I hope he isn't far gone enough to have turned her into an angel as well.

[That's good choice. One of your resistance members can tell you how they received a hard punch in the face for pushing too much for Zelos to talk about the things that happened. ]

[He pauses before he speaks]

...She's not one, but he's got her locked up in the throne room- to keep her "safe".

Sheena's being used to fight and Colette stays in the castle...I don't remember her attacking anyone.

Genis might still be out here somewhere. Least, Mithos hadn't found him when I...you know.

[cloakand_danger]

[Yuan nods. So many...]

...There are times I think I want to just charge in. See how far I can get, how many of them I can take down. It'd be less miserable than nibbling away at the edges, waiting for the day I'm not fast enough to get away. [And maybe he could force them to kill him instead of turning him, if he did, he doesn't say aloud.]

...But it wouldn't do her any good. And it's my responsibility to see this through, to stay alive as long as I can.

[wilder]

[Yeah because Zelos would totally judge you about rather dying than being turned into that. He's only, you know, staying alive by a small bit of hope there's some way to save his friends and kill Mithos in a thousand and one different but all very painful ways.]

[What? Tethe'allans really love their revenge. It's a thing.]

If they were still around...I'd say there'd be a shot with that, but...

[he shakes his head]

He really hit hard this time.

[cloakand_danger]

If we could just get- [He pauses, realizing what he's about to say, but has to press on.] If we could just get Lloyd back, we'd have a fighting chance. I've been thinking about it more and more...about forcing a confrontation. Our resources are getting thin - sooner or later, it will come to doing something drastic, or simply fading away.

...But he's proved he's stronger than what I can take on in the past, even when I had my full power set and he didn't. Even if I only had to get close enough to get a Key Crest on him...it's foolhardy.

[wilder]

[Lloyd. He looks away again, as he listens to this. 'If we could just get Lloyd'...it's something he's both thought a lot about and tried very hard NOT to think about. It's a long time before he answers, thinking, finally looking up at Yuan]

I'll do it.

[There's a lot he could say. He could ask if Zelos is sure...but from the reaction he saw earlier, that's a stupid question. He could tell Zelos it's a suicide mission...but they both know that already. He could ask why...but really, he knows why. He just didn't expect it from Zelos.

He's sent men to their deaths before, intentionally and unintentionally, more times than he cares to count. But always, they were his own soldiers, people with whom he shared a bond of loyalty. He doesn't have that bond with Zelos. Zelos is not his; neither of them owes the other anything, and it makes the offer different, somehow.

Finally, he just reaches into his pocket and pulls out a simple engraved bracelet, offering it to Zelos.]

...Thank you. [And he means it, regardless of the outcome.]

[Zelos is glad you didn't say or ask anything, really. Most things about Zelos Wilder are personal, but this was to another level. Where it any other hero instead, Zelos would never volunteer. Too much risk involved, that went against every bit of of his mantra of old. ]

[But Lloyd? Lloyd was a different matter. Lloyd was the first person to treat him as a friend, to see him as more than just a Chosen. He showed him the world was more than dark and repulsive. And he gave Zelos a value in his life, even if it was just the pretty crappy value of being Lloyd's friend]

[And well...if he couldn't even fulfill that crappy value...]

[He swipes the bracelet from his hand. He sure recognizes this thing. He eyes it, and then with a seemingly apathetic shrug he pockets it. Then he smirks at Yuan, his age old mask.]

Save the thanks for when I actually do it. I'm reaaally hoping that resistance of yours has some cute girls, you know?

[cloakand_danger]

[Yuan recognizes it, of course, but he's more than grateful enough right now to let Zelos have his space if that's what he needs.]

You'll be their charming hero, right up until you open your mouth.

[Space is always good thing, yep. He snorts]

Please. I'm sure they'll fall head over heels for my voice and charming personality.
