Super Duper Borgia Party
Who: OPEN TO ALL
What: Lucrezia's Birthday Party
When: 18th April - Nighttime
Where: The Grand Hall
Rating: It's a party thrown by a pony for a Borgia, I don't think such a rating exists.
[Cheese had made Lucrezia a promise, and by Cheddar, he was going to follow through on it. Of course, as experienced a party planner he was, he'd never worked his craft in a magical castle before. Still, he had his pride as the best of the best (bar one) on the line, and he wasn't about to quit over schematics.
He'd waited until he was sure the Discord-esque spiral nonesense was over and done with, then carefully sent invitations to the entire castle. He wasn't sure who Lucrezia's friends were, so he figured if he sent an invite to everyone, they'd choose to come of their own accord. The people living outside of the castle were another matter, a hastily left journal message would have to suffice. The invite was surprisingly elegant, for someone who could only draw with his mouth, giving the time and place, and reminding them they should probably at least try to bring a gift. Don't be a jerk, now.]

Re: open
I saw you admiring the sculpture. What do you think of it?
Re: open
Re: open
Won't it? Considering the magic users we have here, I would think it might be better preserved don't you?
[ He slid his arm through hers as they walked, sipping his wine. ]
I have missed you. I have been quite terrible at coming to see you. My apologies for that, Galadriel.
no subject
And, please, do not apologize; the fault lies as much with me as with you.

The fact we forget, I think, shows how long we have actually been here. Things just are, and so we forget to think of them, sometimes.
[ He took another sip of his wine, glad to be talking with his friend again. ]
I hope the latest events were not to cruel to you, grandmother.
[ Far enough off to be somewhat private, he felt confident enough to use the small endearment born of a gentler event, his eyes sparkling with a bit of mischief. ]
no subject
No, they were not; I was fortunate enough to be spared the brunt of it. And you?
no subject
Much the same. They made me very uncomfortable, and - I am ashamed to admit - nearly drove me made with fright and disgust. But I like to believe that is more Castle influence than anything else.
I am glad enough for it to be done and for us to move into the spring in full. I can finally put away my winter robes!
[ He beamed, clearly excited. He disliked Winter immensely, and he made no secret of it. ]
Do you think we shall have another of those spring celebrations, like last year?

Pretty cool, huh? I've never sculpted a human before, it took me forever to get the hands right.
no subject
It is beautiful; you are quite an artist.
no subject
Why, thank you! I just hope the birthday girl will like it.

She has had people chanting her name before as she paraded across the city past children bearing her colors, but never a sculpture and certainly not one of ice. She speaks as if she knows someone stands by her even without turning to see. ]
I should wish for it to be winter forevermore.

Whoa. Is that you?

When not seeking out Lucrezia herself, Anne is careful to take note of who has attended. Who has been close with Lucrezie without her knowing, and who is just here to be polite? Either way, she'll treat all as friend, and be as gracious a guest as if this were a decade ago and she had not yet tasted true bitterness. ]

Admiring the décor?
no subject
Her lips don't stay pursed in dazed thought for long, and she smiles like this doesn't faze her. But oh does it. She didn't know many talking animals, former people or not. ]
It calls me more to home than this place usually cares to. Do not tell me it is the work of a horse's hooves?
no subject
Sure is! I'm a professional party pony. I do this kind of thing all the time back home.
no subject
You say you are normally an animal?
no subject
Well, I'm normally a pony. Animals don't talk. [Yes, apparently there are regular animals in this crazy pony world, go figure.] My world is full of talking ponies.
no subject
Which begs another question. ]
Yes, a distinction...I will take a care to make in the future. Then you are owned by Lucrezia Borgia?
