The doors we open and close each day
Who: Felix Harrowgate, Geoffrey Chaucer, Miles Edgeworth & Vanyel Ashkevron
What: A dinner party and an attempt at matchmaking
When: Tonight
Where: Chimera HQ
Rating: PG-13, most likely
Felix idly wondered if life in Paradisa was beginning to be so utterly boring, that he'd found the time and motivation for this sort of thing. It wasn't entirely charity on his part, that was for certain. He liked both Miles and Vanyel, but honestly both of them needed to loosen up and since he was rather unavailable in that regard, he might as well shove them together and hope they'd discover an outlet to their mutual problems.
In the very least, it might be entertaining.
Of course, having a get together without Ashura was unusual, but his lover's sentimentality wasn't exactly what he needed in this situation. This was more...secondary seduction. Thus asking Geoffrey to assist.
Too bad he couldn't drug them, though some strong wine wasn't out of the question.
He'd had a table placed in the lobby of Chimera headquarters and laid it out with their meal. It was a little more impersonal than his own quarters, but ensured it wouldn't look amiss when he left for the evening, hopefully leaving Vanyel and Miles alone.
What happened then was out of his hands. Right now, he only had to wait.

Arriving
It might be close to sunset by the time you walk in, and the doors that open onto the balcony are thrown wide open. Felix has a certain feeling for ambiance, and now seems a good time for it.]
Re: Arriving
He arrived on time, dressed nicely in soft white and dark blues, his raven hair brushed to a lustrous shine, the silver streak highlighted on its own accord. His soft indoor boots padded without sound across the floor and poked his head in.]
Felix?

Goodness, Vanyel. Are you trying to sneak up on me?

What is this all about?

It will be nice to have a meal amongst friends again.
/moving it here. :3
...Ah, the dinner table certainly wasn't difficult to find, being smack-dab in the middle of the lobby. He saw the backs of the two men. Felix's bright-red hair was definitely hard to miss. However, the other looked vaguely familiar from afar. He was clad in a sherwani, inspired by Felix's style when they had first met - though, admittedly, the Sherwani was a bit simpler than Felix's at that time...]
Good evening, Felix.

[He turned at the sound of Edgeworth's voice, welcoming him with his typical warm smile, tinged with an extra bit of actual amusement at seeing his attire]
And a good evening to you as well, Miles. I hope the trek up here wasn't too much trouble.
Oh, and this is Vanyel Ashkevron. [He waved a hand towards the other mage with a small smirk] Vanyel...Miles Edgeworth.
no subject
...Ah...Is...Is that so?
no subject
Hello, gents! Hope I'm not too late!
[Chaucer... don't interrupt the moment! Sheesh! X(]
no subject
WHOTHEFUCKISTOUCHINGMEwell, such a greeting would startle just about anyone, anyway.]...H-Hi, there...
no subject
Not late at all, except...who are you?
no subject
Pardon! It's Geoffrey. I'm on a loss.

He drew himself out of the stunned moment to look back to Edgeworth.]
Nice to meet you Geoffrey. And... nice to se to see you again, Edgeworth.
no subject
His eyes flicker between Vanyel and Edgeworth for a moment before he nods and smiles at Vanyel, and then Felix.]
Sorry. I should've given you a warning. But really, my entrance would not have been so entertaining had I done so.
no subject
Ah, yes. Mr. Ashkevron, was it? It is a pleasure.
In any case, it is nice to see you again, Chaucer. The last time we met, we had a little dinner party of our own, did we not? You were also male that time, too, if I can correctly recall.
no subject
[The last was added after a moment, casting a quizzical glance at Miles, but just rolling with it. It could hardly hurt, could it? Though, no, he had never met Chaucer, so that much was true.]
no subject
What a surprise. You two know each other. Are you all colluding behind my back? [A smirk] Well, Miles already said it, but Geoffrey, this is my friend Vanyel Ashkevron. [He gestures between them] Vanyel...Geoffrey Chaucer. Or shall we call you something else today, Geoffrey?
no subject
[He claps Edgeworth on the back again with a laugh.] Nothing escapes you, my friend. The castle decided it was time for a change, I suppose.
But let us get on a first name basis, yes? Felix, Miles, Vanyel, Geoff.
[His eyes flicker over to Felix as if to say 'Am I doing okay?']
no subject
That suits me just fine, Geoff, thank you.

Afterwards...
This is nice. I haven't had a chance to do much of this since I arrived. Dinner, I mean...with friends. [He tips his glass in a lazy sort of toast]
