Uru had helped decorate and set up. Peeta put up another reminder in the journal. Despite his friends' protests, he made a couple lovely, simple one-layer cakes, one vanilla and one chocolate.

He put on some music recommended by friends, put out the snacks and waited. He just hoped Katniss showed up.

[Sheena had heard about the party through the grapevine (read: journal entries) and had originally decided not to go because she wouldn't know anyone. In fact, she had just declined an invitation from a stranger and was walking away when she saw Kirby go in.

And that changed her mind.

She liked the little guy, and had developed a soft spot for him. She had no idea what might happen at the party, but she was going to make sure he didn't get hurt.

So, she went in, grabbed a glass of punch, and stood in a corner, her eyes scanning the room occasionally and lighting up with pleasure when she saw Kirby having a good time.]

[ Kirby didn't really know many people around, either, but he was an adorable little puffball and most people mistook him for a Pokemon or an animal of some sort, so he got all kinds of positive attention.

Soon, though, he would see a familiar face: Sheena! ]

Sheena! [ he would call, running to her, the sides of his mouth smudged a little bit with cake icing. ]

[Sheena smiled brightly when she saw Kirby heading her way and knelt down to talk to him.]

Hey! You look like you're enjoying yourself!
