Entry tags:
Backdated to before the job fair, Open for the Deathmatch
Who: Xena and you?
What: Investigating the Deathmatch and meeting people
When: sometime before the job fair and after talking to Travis
Where: the Deathmatch
Rating: Probably PG-ish for mild language. Will edit if it gets worse
This was quite possibly the easiest job Xena had ever scored. Easy enough to make her doubt the Deathmatch’s standards. So it was even more important to check it out for herself.
If the Deathmatch weren’t…well, what it is, she would be quite a sight, walking-no, sauntering in, dressed in her usual armor and armed to the teeth. Just a normal day, really. She paused in the entryway, swiftly taking in the layout and general conditions of the bar and- you know what?- it’s still a million steps up from a lot of the places she frequents at home. After a moment, she catches someone’s eye and give a quick nod as she approaches.
“Hey.”

She looks pretty far from the daughter of a tavernkeep now, but she hasn't forgotten.

Which is a kind way of putting it. 'Before I had to defend my village and then jumped of the slippery slope of sanity' is probably more accurate.

Reno doesn't really give a shit about your backstory man. He instead digs under the counter to pull out some paperwork. Name information, background experience, level of training, etc. He holds it out to her.
"I just have some paperwork for filing reasons and then some training later. We're not exactly in the position to have a stellar job selection process, I'm afraid."

She'll fill out the paperwork. Most of it is even legible!
