For some silly reason, Kenzi actually thought she might be able to best Kitt at video games. KITT! Former computer? It was going to be a bloodbath.

"Okee dokee. Let's see what we got." She crawled over to the tv, looking in the stand beside it for movies. "We got... ooh. We could watch Christine," she said back over her shoulder with a smirk. "Or maybe The Fast and the Furious."

"Hmmm?" More drinking, the warmth filtering through to his toes now. It really wasn't so bad once you got used to it. He even sort of liked it. It was bitterly fruity. Like the gum, but different.

He shrugged. "Either?" He was good.

"Fast and the Furious seems more your type. Don't want to give you nightmares." She slipped the movie in, then went and turned off the lights before jumping back onto the couch. "You need a refill yet, Kitt-Katt?"

Oooh, no nightmares. Nightmares wouldn't be good. He didn't want nightmares. One more mouthful would do him before a refill, so he guzzled it down and held out the mug for more. "Mmmhmm."

"Not so bad is it?" She refilled his mug, starting the movie and taking a long sip from the bottle. She wondered what he'd think of the movie, since it was basically all about hot cars and driving like a maniac...

"'S good." Kind of yummy, after a fashion. Whatever that meant. He took another drink, smirking to himself. Yay movie! He didn't usually watch movies with anyone else. Once in a great while he and Michael would settle in at a drive-in, but those were getting harder to find. This was much nicer. Watching a movie about fast cars was right up his alley, and he couldn't fault the company.

She stretched out so her feet were nudging him, making car noises during the driving scenes. What? It was fun. It made it a more interactive movie experience. Vroom vroom, baby.

His drink was gone. That made him sad. The noises she was making were funny. They made him happy. So happy he was giggling, joining in with the noise-making, then pretending to hold a steering wheel as though he was driving one of the cars on the screen.

"Want more?" She grinned at him, watching him loosen up a bit. Oh, she was going to hold the giggling over him so hard, but for now, it was nice just to have them both not pissed or freaking out over anything.

Hell yeah he wanted more. He held the mug out almost eagerly, completely relaxed for possibly the first time in his entire life. His vision was starting to go a bit wonky, but even that wasn't enough to worry him. So long as he could see the mug, he'd be fine.

She only half-filled it this time, surprised at how hard two mugs had hit him. She wanted him drunk, not poisoned. So she kept her eye on him, but not in any way that was mother henny or anything. Nooooo.

He was gulping it down almost as fast as she filled it, ever since the first few sips had warmed him. That comfortable feeling, like a safe and well-loved blanket, was something he wanted more of. More alcohol meant more feeling. He turned on the puppy eyes for her to finish filling it up all the way.

"In a bit," she said, not the slightest bit affected by puppy eyes. Well, maybe a little, but not enough to risk his health by overboozing him. "C'mere," she said, patting the couch beside her. She would, of course, totally abuse this as cuddle time.

He pouted, making full use of his ability to do so. ... But sitting next to her was good too. He smiled brightly, taking her up on her offer, settling down in beside her - but not before finishing off the refill in two big gulps.

She smiled and shook her head, pulling his arm over her shoulder and curling up. "You liking the movie so far?" She'd put the bottle far enough away that he couldn't reach it without making her move, and she wasn't moving.

His sadness only lasted momentarily, quickly forgotten. He turned to look at her, a little bleary-eyed but still following along. "Mmmhmm. Lots of action. Make the sounds again." Happy smile.

"I will when they're driving. They're gabbing right now." If he was going to be this amiable all the time when he drank, maybe she should figure out a way for him to do it more often. Because he was... sweet, like this. She smiled up at him and tapped his nose. "Meep meep."

"Oh." He turned to face the movie, saw them talking, and started giggling again, harder when she meeped his nose. "You sound like the Roadrunner!" He liked cartoons, what could he say?

"I didn't figure you for a toon lover. You surprise me, Kitt." That he liked classical and all that jazz had her thinking he was too sophisticated for cartoons.

He sat back, one hand going to his chest, looking mortally wounded. "I will have you know that." His words were a little slurred as he gathered his thoughts. "I spent many nights alone in parking lots with only television for company." One watched what was available late at night. Cartoons, B movies, he was practically a connoisseur.

"Well, pardon me," she said, eyes wide and lashes fluttering up at him. "You usually have such a big stick up your butt, it's hard to imagine you having fun."

"Where?" He looked confused, frowning suddenly as he looked over his shoulder. Oooh, shouldn't have moved that fast. Whee, room spin! He grabbed onto her, using her to recover his equilibrium, then smiled broadly at her.

She watched him waver, shaking her head. "It's a figure of speech, Kitt. Means you're uptight."

"Oh." It was a tough job, being a bodyguard and backup to someone all day. Wouldn't do to let down his guard - what if something happened?

That would have been his reply if he were more sober. Since he wasn't, he just made a vague 'pffff' sound and waved his hand in front of his face dismissively.

"Don't you 'pff' me," she said, swatting at his hand. "You're a human now. You have to loosen up. Breathe. I promise it won't kill you."
