Galadriel couldn't have spooked Mufasa if she tried. Surprised, maybe, but Mufasa was too old to really be startled by such mundane acts anymore.
Still, he can appreciate the respect of his boundaries. As well as the not screaming or pulling a weapon on him. Young'ns, honestly.
