What: Surprise birthday party for Zelos.

[It's just an unassuming Monday for everyone else. But for Lloyd, this means more-- so much more. Now that everyone's back from the expedition and people have been suitably warned (everyone except Zelos, of course) it's time to get things going. Everyone coming here should have the address of the place and the time to meet up. There's about an hour before Zelos is supposed to come home.

The party is set up on the first floor of their big family house. There's plenty of yard space as well as living room space. From the outside, though, it's supposed to be unassuming-- otherwise it wouldn't be a surprise.]

[okay, wow, she wasn't expecting him to come in WITH HIS SWORD DRAWN. though she should have expected it, with his creepy observational skills.

but she's kind of reluctant to actually jump out from her place behind the couch, now .... so she's just peeking up over the top of the couch carefully]

[Lloyd hits the lights.]

HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!

Save the knife for the cake, will ya?

Yeah, you're kind of making everyone nervous. [straightening up now]

[Okay fine he's putting away the sword.]

Happy- what?

[But his expression? Is still pure confusion at what is going on here. He can't even compute this even with Lloyd shouting that]

Lloyd, be a bud and tell me what's going on.

[Lloyd steps out from behind the couch.]

We're throwing you a birthday party! Sorry it's a little late, but that's what you get for not telling us. Anyway, there's cake and presents and all sorts of stuff, and all your friends are here!

[What is with that look, Zelos? PLEASE DONT CRY]

Seriously, what's with the face? I swear if you're gonna act all clueless, I might have to beat some sense into you.

[ZELOS WILDER DOES NOT CRY, EXCUSE YOU. He'll try to cover his shocked face as Kallen says that...even if he's still really confused]

[Lloyd scratches the back of his head. At least he's not mad, but then again, it's... Zelos. If he storms out, well... that'll be a new one.]

Yeah. I mean, why not? Everyone deserves to have their friends over when it's their birthday. Or not-birthday. You know what I mean.
