You're in a hallway, everything cement and metal, hard and cold. There are exposed pipes and harsh lighting. In fact, the only sound is the buzz of the lights.

There are three metal doors in front of you. Choose a door.

Door on the left

[peeta_bread]

[It’s quiet when you enter this room. But it’s not even a room, is it? It’s a forest. You can hear wildlife, but it’s eerily still. Explore a little, maybe you’ll find Peeta… or maybe you’ll run into someone (or something) else…]

Door in the middle

[peeta_bread]

[You walk in a white room- white walls, white floor, white ceiling, fluorescent lighting. Everything is blank and sterile. There’s glass on one wall that’s like a police interrogation room- you can’t see through it, but you’re sure people are on the other side, watching you. In the center of the room is a device, like a table but it’s upright so a person can be strapped upright. Near the device is a projector, currently turned off, and a table with needles, knives, and other instruments. Peeta’s strapped to the device, mumbling to himself.]

Door on the right

[You walk outside. There’s no grass and the air is heavy… dead. As you walk along, you’ll notice bodies lying on the ground now and then. You may recognize a few faces (Katniss, Haymitch, Finnick, Johanna, Dairine, Steve, Jorge) and you may not recognize a few (His parents, his brothers). There’s a special part of the graveyard, not a proud spot, but a dirty hideaway. There are three bodies, two young girls and an older man. Peeta will be roaming around the graveyard.]

TELL ME IF I AM DOING IT RIGHT?!

.... [Johanna is just going to go find a tree to climb up to the top and look around from right now.]

YEP :)

[peeta_bread]

[She'll see trees for miles and miles... there's a lake nearby... and not too far away is a figure, moving among the trees. If she goes over to the figure, she'll see that it's Peeta.]

[not_like_the_rest]

[Johanna is going to go over to him then, jumping through the trees so that no one sees her. She's not as good at it as Little Rue, but it help keep her out of the attention of anything that might be on the ground. She hops down next to him.]

Peeta.

[peeta_bread]

[He jumps, spluttering in surprise. Peeta was never really good at survival. Good thing Johanna was a friend. He lowers his knife.]

Johanna. You know where we are, right?

[Someone is very much alive, walking around, frowning. Jorge is still in his armour, having fell asleep in it, but...

He can't shake off the feeling that this is weird. Especially when he comes across his own dead body. He nudges the corpse with a boot.]

Hello?

[not_like_the_rest]

[She looks around and shrugs.]

Are these your woods?

[peeta_bread]

[Shakes his head.]

We're in the arena.

[peeta_bread]

Jorge?

[Peeta's behind him, watching him nervously.]

[And at that voice, the big guy is turning around.]

Peeta? Are you okay?

[peeta_bread]

I'm fine. I didn't want you to see this.

[valuedstrength]

[Steve feels sick. The colors are different, but the environment feels familiar. That's probably why he entered the dream with the same outfit he rescued Bucky in. It's the same situation only tweaked to fit the other boy who was like a brother to him. Steve is not pleased by this realization to say the least.]

Peeta! Oh God. [He's quick to go for those straps. He's expecting trouble coming from that window. Hell, he's welcoming it on some level. The shield and gun accompanied him into the dream. He wouldn't mind using either on whoever is playing a part in this.]

[Johanna's eyes narrowed.] Yours I guess. I stopped watching after my kids were killed. What's going on?

[peeta_bread]

[This is not the Peeta Steve knows. He's wild, crazed, skinny, with dark circles under his eyes. Peeta screams, thrashing around.] Leave me alone, leave me alone!

[Having another look around.]

What exactly is this?

[valuedstrength]

[He wasn't expecting him to react like that despite his appearance. Be dazed and confused, yes, but not see him as the enemy. Steve stops and settles his hands on his shoulders.]

Peeta, stop. I'm here to help you. You have to let me.

[peeta_bread]

It must be right after the bloodbath. I heard a lot of cannons going off- 8. I haven't seen anyone yet.

[peeta_bread]

[He gazes at Steve, trying to place him.] They're watching. Needles under the skin, burning and burning and burning...

[peeta_bread]

A graveyard. The people I'm afraid to lose, the... [Stops in the middle of that and shakes his head.] Death and loss.

[not_like_the_rest]

Better not to be seen. We should keep moving. [So she turns and heads away from the water she saw.] Figure out what to do.

[valuedstrength]

[Steve shakes his head. There's anger to replace the sick feeling in his gut and it leaks into his voice.] Not while I'm around.

[He sucks in an unsteady breath to calm himself.] I'm going to get you out, Peeta. You're gonna be safe. Just calm down and don't fight me.

You're afraid to lose me? [Even though he was already, technically, dead? Not going to bring that up now, though.]

These are your bad dreams?

[peeta_bread]

[He walks along with her, trying to stay alert. Though this is his first arena, his memories are starting to blend with the memories of the second one. Peeta doesn't notice the orange monkey sitting on a tree branch to the left, or the two that are sitting on the tree next to it.]

Okay. Yeah. We need to keep moving. Here.

[He pulls out another knife for her.]
